 I see numerous people out in PUG lobbies who only have played Mass effect and only have multiplayer achievements/trophies. So i'm wondering...did anyone buy this solely for the MP or are you a Mass effect fan? 


I ended up buying this solely for the multiplayer, played singleplayer...got a terrible playthrough and then played through the other three games.

Fan....No way did I think I would get addicted to MP.

I've played all 3 games, only after I beat SP did I play MP.

So I'm a ME fan but the MP is the ultimate icing on the cake. Helps to cancel out the foul aftertaste of the endings.

I bought it for the music... MP was just a bonus... SP was a bonus, as well...

It was 2, 1, 3, for me but MP made me an addict. Love the lore, story, gameplay...everything. Best game for me

Bought it for the SP, but fell in love with the MP from the demo.

I bought it for the SP, the MP was just a nice bonus.

 I bought it for the SP game and was only going to play just enough MP to boost my readiness.  As it thought the concept sucked big time.  I don't like MP games and don't want to be forced into it for the "Good" ending  
And 625 hours later.

I bought this game on somebody's suggestion. I just expected something new but not for MP nor I'm a fan.

I am a single player only gamer. I rarely play any MP.... I wanted the trophy related to the MP and then I never left the place.... It cheaper now... I didn't buy a lot of games because of it... bought the DLC for ME in stead.

The hours I put in this game is crazy.... Once the record belonged to Dead Island Co-op ... that was 150+ hours... I crushed that.

Became an ME fan with the first game and hotly anticipated 3 for the SP. When I heard there was going to be a multiplayer aspect, I admit that I rolled my eyes at first. "Great, they're trying to compete with the other 'shooter' games and they're tacking on some MP aspect," I said to a friend. "I'm just going to play enough so I can boost Shepard's chances of 'winning' in SP."

Long after Shepard's journey is done, my various MP soldiers are still fighting the good fight. And it doesn't look like they're going to stop any time soon. Honestly, what got me hooked was the weekend operations and discovering that there was a great community of both players and developers here.

Entirely this.  I wasn't even originally interested in the MP, I only tried it after noticing a whole bunch of DLC had been made for it.

Fan. Got it to finish the trilogy. Swore I'd never play MP but then I did and ... I haven't stopped.

nearly left because of the artistic vision from H&W (eh who am i kidding ripped off deus ex ending)
stayed because of the MP.

Fan since 2009, bought the game in march but I started to play the MP in october, I thought the multiplayer was a bad add to the series... I've never been so wrong in my life.

  I played the other mass effect games and loved them, It was a no brainer I would also buy 3.  I enjoy the multiplayer, but it was the furthest thing from my mind when I bought mass 3. Single player is great, the MP is just icing on the cake. If there is a sequel coming up (and NOT a prequel as I am fearing there will be) I'll buy that as well for the single player, everything else is just extra.

I bought it for the SP been a fan since ME1.
Also I must admit when I found out he game would have MP I thought it was a very bad idea, but after 10 minutes of MP I fell in love with it and have been playing MP now for over a year

Bought it for the SP and it definitely shows in my weekend challenge completion.
Didn't even try the demo like my friend did.
