So Im encountering and extremely annoying and apparently very common bug of infinite loading.

Played through the game (couldnt save without corrupting during the later stages of act 2), supported the mages, did the dlc everything (reasonably) fine.

Played through again, agreed with the templars, got the mage hunter achievement at the start of act 3.

Had a thought: just finish the game with my first character with the templars for crowning glory.

Forgot about the desperatly game breaking and soul destroying bug of infinite loading screen after defeating orsino and try to exit to templar/temple hall. I had just refused to let Bethany die. The save in the orsino fight area is corrupted. Noticed the save I made before entering the orsino fight area corrupted giving the error 'dlc required not downloaded' (or whatever it says).

Autosaving is off, although there are autosaves on the characters list of saves. The version of the game is 1.05 i believe.

Is there a way around this? is it pure luck that this has happened to me twice in a row or am I doomed to never get past this? I did skip most of the quests dialog just fyi in case it has an effect. Is it a case of its just random to characters and my second character supporting the templars may have better luck getting through?

Any help at all would be incredibly appriciated.
