Yeah, in me2 it was a great gun. In fact, only the claymore from me2 was good in me3. Locust, widow, viper, revenant, you_name_it. They did not like the me2 guns.

I use it on 80% of my kits. Really.

It's light, it shoots fast - faster than the Eviscerator, much faster than the Graal - and it staggers.

And, unlike the Wraith, it's real.

The problem is the weapons in multiplayer are so watered down, dozens of weapons for the sake of dozens of weapons. It's not like more than a handful are unique in any way, most are carbon copies of others with different stats.

Sure anything can be used at any level providing the player using it is good enough but each loadout slot has 1-2 "top" weapons and maybe another specialty one.

It's not surprising the vast majority of weapons fall into the "totally outclassed" category, sadly the Scimitar falls into this area.

Eviscerator can actually kill stuff. As can the graal from miles further away as well, with the 3.0 headshot bonuses and the accuracy. 
Scimitar can stagger on what, Silver?

The Argus has too horrible a shot pattern to be a true Vindicator successor

Well I was going to say Valkyrie, but Valkyrie shoots way too fast for a Vindicator successor and has only 2 shot burst.

There is no true successor to the ME2 Vindicator Monster.

I filmed a couple of minutes of Scimitar Goodness. I'm no exceptional player, yet with my fragile Salarian and no shotty or ammo mods, you can see that the Scimitar

• staggers reliably. Solo targets never have a chance.
• shoots fast enough to take out a target even in a mob
• Also gets a nice headshot bonus.

No, it's not a 3x bonus, but it's 2.5. And yes, most of the headshot kills there are on mook troopers, but it does just fine at pulping Centurions and Nemeses.

And it definitely doesn't do the damage of a Graal. Or a Wraith. Or even an Eviscerator. But it's faster: more than twice the speed of the Eviscerator, with more than double the magazine.

As a stunner or a finisher, it's marvelous.
