Phoenix Vanguard.

I don't really consider him to be terrible, I just think that every other Vanguard is better. There's nothing he's really good at the another Vanguard doesn't do better or the Phoenix Adept can't just do himself.

Probably the Ex-Cerberus. Smash is less than useless on it. Lash is OK, especially when you need it to prime for a follow up charge, but that's a lot of effort for one kill. The decent melee is the only thing that keeps this kit from being terrible. Still, it's probably the worst of a decent range of vanguard kits, IMO.

I'd say the volus protector or the krogan, I know the krogan is powerful but I just find him extremely boring to use! The smashguard is a lot of fun, especially if you take the 50% chance of no cool down evolution, charge instantly followed by smash is pretty devastating!

Probably the Phoenix.  Smash's long animation just doesn't fit well with the nature of using Charge.

None. Biotic Charged Claymore for everyone and the Cabal is untouchable with her dodges. Havoc has freaking Stim Packs, he can never be bad at anything.

Originally, they did.  Then BW buffed the Drell passives a lot and Grenade Capacity Gear was introduced, and people started realizing the insane amount of destruction one can cause with super high weapon and power damage bonuses, in combination with Charge power bonuses and a crap ton of Cluster Grenades, with crack-like movement speeds.

Volus. Because Biotic Orbs suck ass. It's funny and fun though going hatesurfing with Batarian Gauntlet, punching people in the nuts so hard that their heads explode. 

Biotic Orbs suck if you're using them offensively, which you shouldn't. I only put three points into them for the cooldown bonus, which is what you should be using them for.

And Biotic Orbs + Biotic Charge = ROLY POLY BOOM BOOM FUN! 

A little incendiary wit dat refresh bonus, and we're talking about a seriously fast sequence of fire explosions.  I probably couldn't outscore a well-played Phoenix what that setup, but I enjoy my Volguard more.
