No DR you say? Who the **** uses a power like that in a vulnerable position? You don't cast Dark Sphere in an enemies' face when surrounded.

But Oni, it's "slow!" Cancelling animation makes it about as fast as Dark Channel.

what is the point of vanguard as he can't even keep himself save after charge
full fitness/shield after shield boost, down immediately by 1 phantom hand palm and 1 bullet from anywhere. this class even don't get any power to use . no special weapon bonus
totally lame class. he may be the worst class in this game

I'm not going to argue about how good he is when compared to the other Vanguards (I did that for 8 pages. Not doing it again), but I'm going to go ahead and say, without a shadow of a doubt, you have no idea what you're talking about.

why necessary need 8 pages to convine others if that class is good?
may be you like it. so u want to proof to others his usefuleness
i believe a class good or not get some relation on game data and style of the person who use them
on paper volus is nothing descent for killing. 
if he depends on some specific weapon like lol reegar. than there is no relation with this class at all

I changed my mind about the Cabal. I only specced three points into poison strike and did a non-melee build and I like her a lot better.

Yeah and if you skip her powers she will be just a mobile weapon character who relies 95% on a weapon to do damage. But there are way better weapon characters out there even with similar mobility like even the Slayer that i dont like much but Slayer is still way better than cabal.

I don't know about that, considering my Cabal seems better able to take a hit than my Destroyer.

As a Vanguard, the Cabal is a failure. But she can be really good when using the nightshade blades and shooting everything (while constantly stacking biotic focus)

I don't think you understand. I've seen this guy play a volus. It's unnatural.

I would say Phoenix, though I don't think he is a bad character by any stretch. Excellent against Cerberus, but a lot trickier to play against the other factions, imo. Very high risk for not enough payout compared to the other Vanguards. Still a powerful kit in the right hands.

I don't particularly care for the Volus Vanguard (I prefer the Volus Engineer), but you can cloak and restore your shields without charging. Powerful tools other Biotic Charge using vanguards can't do. The Cabal has the good Turian passives, a ballistic blades without cooldown, fast movement, and wall jumps. She requires some finesse, but I think she is a very good kit.

If only the Phoenix had some more shields or movement speed bonuses in his passives....

1 .u don't know me but u know him.so u assume i don't know what i am takinag about. sounds fair
2. if he can do an outstanding job with volus vanguard. u mean he is good but not necessary the class. may be he can do a much better job with others
