I don't want to see a alternate universe.
I don't want to see the game take place directly after Mass Effect 3.
I want your Mass Effect 3 ending choice to matter in a universe fifty thousand years after the Reaper War.
I want to see creatures like the Varren evolve.
I want to see the Yahg as the main enemies.

That would be one boring game.
Well, it's one of my fears.

My fear is that Walters is involved in the writing of it but that's already been confirmed so I guess we're screwed.
No, you're screwed. Better jump ship now.

I always wonder why no one complains about fighting nothing but indoctrinated Geth throughout all of ME1...but they complain about fighting indoctrinated Cerberus agents in ME3.
You didn't get the memo? ME1 is perfect and all changes made the series worse.

Well, if this post is an example of the maturity you wish for us to strive for, thanks for setting the bar so very very low.

I fear of the story won't be strong enough if it is a sequeal, like the reapers come back or something like that. Also being worried about location I don't want to be limited to a small area for the whole game, I like traveling to a fresh location and having a huge map to roam around in.

Any ending being canonized.I wish to import a lot of characters that chose different endings and are very diverse and I'd like to see how their decisions affect Mass Effect 4.

Incorporating the player's choices increases the amount of distinct content that has to be produced to account for the consequences of those choices. With the choices made at the end of Mass Effect 3, things as simple as the fundamental nature of life in this galaxy (Synthesis) or whether there is still a human race (Refuse) can be different. Some choices have also eradicated major races of the previous games (Destroy) or would mean their drastic expansion compared to previous games (curing the Genophage, sparing the Rachni Queen twice). For the developers to devote the requisite attention to all the possible outcomes would mean exponentially more content with each iteration, and therefore more man-hours and money have to go into it.mass perfection wrote...

The unfortunate thing is, many players would never see quite a lot of this content. They'd be chucking money and work down a hole, never to be seen again. Wasteful.

2) That Shepard will make an appearance (except one of Liara's datapacks)
3) That it will canonise ANYTHING
4) That it will be during the First Contact War.
5) That it will be a shooter,
6) That it will be first person *tear*

I'm going to take a wild guess that a lot of people are going to clone their Shepard in whatever new human character they can come up with in lieu of being able to import their character from the trilogy campaign.
