Why do you guys want another "Mass Effect" game? In my experience, the first game was the best (least amount of bugs, best writing) and it slowly went downhill from there. Plus, EA would still have their fingers around BioWare's neck so you know the game would only be about multiplayer...

- They make another interesting and captivating story with endings that sucked (again)

- If it's in another Trilogy format, some unpopular LI's will get shafted (Jacob being the worst example). If you've decide to make said character a romantic interest, then please continue to complete his/her story arc in a good way. I may not ( 'might never' is more likely now) romanced Jacob but damn, that was just cruel. Imagine all that time spent in waiting and your heart hoping only to have one HORRIBLE outcome. No one should be punished just because they choose the wrong LI.

I fear that, if they go on the risky path of making a sequel, that they'll canonize choices or make old choices trivial (a nasty habit of theirs).

I also fear that, if they don't do a sequel, they'll fall into the same pitfalls as Halo: Reach, going over old wars which we know the outcomes of. This extends to the FCW, Rachni Wars, Krogan Rebellions, or even the Prothean cycle. Old wars make meaningful choice impossible, as we already know the future of the universe is static to what the main trilogy gave us.

I fear that we'll get even less emphasis on character growth, consistency, or choice. If the devolution of the dialogue wheel has showed us anything, it's that this story is getting less interactive and malleable as time progresses. We end up with autodialogue, railroaded emotions and choices that don't matter.

1. It will be a prequel. No I don't want a First Contact war, we already know what happens in there.
I want a sequel with a new experience and whole new characters(from all the possible races and maybe introduce a new one dependind how far the sequel goes).

2. The ME3 ending choice will play a big part. I'm, quite fine with the ending though I still hate the "color" choices. I don't really want to hear about them anymore.

3. The rpg elements of customization will be made a small part of the game. I liked the ME3 weapon customization and armor but there were still quite a few options in the end.

Full kinect integration. "Why play with a controller when you can play with our crappy motion sensor software that doesn't even get half of your movements right?!"

It'll be marketed with such gems as, "Your choices matter"

Kinect 2.0, dude! Top of the line surveillance equipment will get your movements just right.

And alert the authorities if it notices unauthorized persons in your room, observing you play without appropriate license. Comparisons to relevant terrorist lists may cause some false positives for a minority of users.

I think my greatest fears are these:

- ME Universe stagnates, it doesnt evolve or expand
- Plot hole galore and inconsistencies continues
- The passion dies out for developing team, it starts to show
- It goes the prequel direction(stagnation)
- It goes into more and more casual direction, everything is streamlined to the max
- The games are rushed by EA

That things won't be thought through in the writing. It's clear from ME3 that making sense doesn't matter as long as it gives the image that they want, and that no thought is given to the consequences. Style without any substance.

With any luck lessons will be learned from the mistakes but nothing I've heard really suggests the first step on that path, namely accepting that a mistake has been made (

A prequel, I really have no interest in the past when I know what the future holds. It's time to move forward not backward.

I just hope they make you register your game to post on ME4s forums. I don't wan't to listen to all the waah babies who are taking a moral stance against Bioware and ME4 because they're still butthurt over ME3.

My fears?

That it will be a 10 hour long SP campaign. A prequel. Corridors everywhere. No exploration. No dialogue choices. No choices and---hopefully--consequences.

I Hope that they royally kick azz, tho.

I have a deep fear that squadmate ariety Is going to be cut down by a large margin, even more than in ME3.
Actually no, I have a worse fear that there will be very little alien squadmate content In the next game =[.

My fear that it will be a Prequel. I'd rather have a Sequel that was at least 100 years after Shepards story. That can show us the consequences of choices we make.

1. Prequel, man, I hate that term. I have never liked any video games prequel. These are very repetitive and touch on a lot of stuffs we have already known about, and there are a lot of asspulling moments where new information just come out of nowhere and often contradict previous games.

2. FPS, despite how much I like ME games, I would never buy a FPS game.

3. Synthesis or Control as canon, for me, Destroy is the best ending, so it would be disheartening to see if other endings are canon. It's just for my own selfish reasons, mostly, that I want Destroy as canon.
