Just curious as to how this is working.

From my reading the dexterity adds to daggers, but when going duel-wield, are other weapons liks swords and such viable for a rogue?

I know that Lethality will have cunning replace str as the dmg as well, so keeps me wondering :)

(btw - did a search on this on the forums and google and didn't find anything, so sorry if it's a duplicate.)

I'm thinking that once you have lethality you could go with the larger weapon for the main hand.

Issue later in the game will be the STR requirements for the larger weapons.

Daggers will use your str/dex for dmg, while axe and swords use str for dmg, But as a rogue you Lethality will use cunning for dmg. I read that a good combo is axe/dagger. Hope that helps.

Ok, decent swords and axes require STR, even if you use lethality. Daggers are also much faster. DW daggers for a cunning rogue is the best damage. If you're a str rogue, you wouldn't waste the points in lethality anyway, in which case, sword or axe is good damage, though still slower than daggers.

Edit: Ideally, if you're playing a cunning rogue with lethality, your strength, WITH gear, should be at 20 so you can wear T7 armor.  This rules out using most swords and axes, especially t7 ones.

And I bet you didn't waste a single point in lethality, or that entire tree. There's no one saying that a STR rogue can't be very good, but I'll tell you, a cunning rogue just doesn't get hit very often, and cunning adds to armor penetration. My cunning rogue will also sneak in, stun the magic user and kill it before anyone has a chance to react -- and doesn't die either because of good dex. Cunning rogues are really something to see with duel daggers and coup de grace and momentum and paralyze runes. 70 - 110 damage per hit, lightning fast. It's crazy.

Rogues are a lot of fun.
