Woah there matey. While the AI that controls the reapers was indeed created by an Organic species, it wasn't created by us, and it created the Reapers. It will even tell you it did. Stupid idea is stupid, but it wasn't our idea, we're just suffering the consequences.omegamantis113 wrote...
Organics really don't like being at fault for a problem they created do they? The Reapers fulfilled what natural organic beings tasked them to do. You cannot expect a machine to comprehend morals and ethics unless you program them to have morals and ethics.
If only Isaac Asimov was around during the Leviathan reign this whole Reaper debacle could have been avoided.
Organics will always be at risk of stupid ideas. Whether that stupid idea came from the Leviathan or us is irrelevent.
The most dire title the Reapers deserve is "Terrible Natural Disaster".

Thanks for reminding me, guys, the Reapers are our friends, not our enemies. I was silly to think so.

I have to say that Destroy and Refusal are very strange choices for nice people.

Has been routine for awhile. Most of the pics make more sense then Seival anyway.

Moreover, Shepard kills all people harvested by the Reapers.
He destroys the giant cuttlefish spaceships that are hellbent on annihilating all civilization to perpetuate their cyle.
Said people are long since dead. All that's left is the space goo. There is no one left. Only the Reaper.

This is almost as horrible as Refusal. This will left the wounded and terrified people among tons of derelict Reapers, and will left the problem unresolved for a long time.
The future looks bad...
Very bad...
No hope...
Oh, the horror!
Yes, many years later, when the Leviathans finally clear the mess the universe will become much better place to live.
Pictures of last years before the Synthesis. Leviathans always find the way, don't you worry.
But please, don't forget the initial price paid for this outcome.

Of course. This is clearly many, many years in the future. And I am glad that there is at least the Leviathans left to enforce nature's will.

I may be chronologically retarded, but I'm almost entirely certain that the asari cheering on Thessia while Reapers fall down doesn't take place "many years" after Shepard destroys the Reapers.
It's symbolism.

As you can see, I'm not trying to invalidate Destroy. Ultimately, the price and the timeframe till the Synthesis is main difference between the endings. And I prefer Controlled Synthesis as the most wise and peaceful decision.

I believe that the asari in the background thrusting her arms in the air is sticking her tongue out, as if trying to lick her chin.
Symbolism?
