I honestly like all of them. They all have value as characters, and I have used every squaddie available to me (except in me3, since I didn't play enough of it)

I don't dislike any of the squadmates either, and also use all of them. Though all three games I rotate them all in & out and use them all fairly equally.

Yeah I agree these as well.  Guess I'll put down top 5 whom I used most in battle however:

Tali:        Drone acts as fourth squaddie and Legion appears too late in ME2 for me to do this with him.
Wrex:      Meatshield to keep enemies from shooting me.
Grunt:     See Wrex.
Garrus:  Used him alot.  Familiar face while I'm among facists Cerberus.
Liara:      I use her for singularity mostly.

Also, as a Soldier, I used Jack's Warp Ammo in ME2 and Garrus AP Ammo in ME3 for bonus powers.

As much as I hate TIM in ME3, I had to include him for how awesome he was in ME2. I opted to exclude Shepard, but he (as I play him) is one of my most favorite characters in the series.

Tough to narrow down, but here they are in no particular order.

1. Garrus - The kicka** supporting role that sometimes comes off as even more awesome than the lead.
2. Tali - The first lady that is both interesting and complex. And also cute.
3. Joker - The comic relief and loyal pilot for the crew. Being human, he's also one of Shepard's main ties to Earth/humanity.
4. Anderson - The mentor wise beyond his years. There's a very mutual sense of honor/respect for him and Shepard.
5. Shepard - The brave leader that "tends the flock" and isn't afraid to make the tough choices that nobody else wants to make.
