my favorite is Leviathan and all characters in this DLC
it was Mass Effect at its best

I thought Leviathan had some decent minor characters.

Although we only meet them briefly, I liked the Brysons.

But man... why do you make me pick and choose? You have no idea how hard it is to pick a top number. Sure, the top three are pretty much a given for me, but after that they all seem so good that not including them in the list is just criminal. Like Mordin, Javik, Zaeed, Wrex, Thane, Joker, EDI, Jack, Liara, Jacob (yes I liked him shush), Miranda.... Screw it. Just put them all in there.

Hard to choose, but these are my favorites and the ones I used more consistently whenever they were available.

[Morlath]

Garrus - A brilliantly worked character and I love how you can shape his personality in ME1. When I'm not doing specific run partner run-throughs he ends up being the guy I'm almost always choosing in my squad.

Grunt - The kid is so loveable and his exploits in Citadel and being the bouncer at the party is freaking awesome!

Wrex - ME2+. Once you get beyond his "I'm a merc" attitude in ME1, Wrex has some amazing depth to his personality.

Kasumi - For sheer laughter factor.

Legion - My own Data/Seven of Nine story arc? How could he not be on the list?

Gianna is also a top 10 for me. Kinda sad they couldn't find a way to squeeze her into the Citadel DLC.
