This was a thread on the legacy forums (not mine) and it was actually about the worst bioware twist but I'll recreate it as a general alt. ending, not necessarily bad.

So let's start!

Shepard is in a space diner, he puts "Don't stop believing" by Journey on the Jukebox. After being joined by Garrus and Tali, we see a msyterious man enter the rest room. After small chat to Garrus and Tali, the door of the diner opens, a bell rings, Shepard looks up into the camera and...

Not sure what was posted in the other thread so my idea my have been said already



The collector's work for Cerberus in order to gather up all human's and send them into dark space so that the Reapers will knock off all other sentient life and humanity will have the universe to itself. Shepard is employed by Cerberus to track down the collector's to make it look as if the collector's are bad (i.e. a legendary human spectre is fighting these guys the rest of the galaxy would assume they are actually a threat to humanity when they are not).

Shepard, Garrus and Tali arrive at the suicide mission. The camer shows Shepards face. It zooms out, And the camer fades to black.

After the final battle Shepard gets knocked out, fade to black then Shepard wakes up and is greeted by Duncan and Alistar who congratulate him/her on becoming a Grey Warden.

Yeah, he was the best (not really being old enough to know any except for him and Eccleston)
Matt Smith will be great me thinks.
As long the show doesn't nosedive like heroes.

You awaken in a padded room and realize you're Conrad Verner and the last two games have just been a fragment of your shatterd mind.

The citadel is attacked again, Saren rises from the grave to attack you, and for the umpteenth time you make Captain Anderson the Councilor as you inform Udina what the captial of Thailand is... and you weep as you discover they just copy/pasted the ending of ME1 for ME2

Throughout the story Shep has a constant nagging thought, accompanied by internal monologue, that every action he's taking may not be of his own will. He assumes it's some sort of failsafe implanted during the surgery and sort backlogs it in his mind. As time goes on this thought chips away at him more and more as the end nears. Eventually he snaps and comes to a sudden realization.

A flurry of images signifying him back tracking in his mind flies by and freezes on one. Its the character naming screen...

Suddenly the screen violently shakes. Its Shepard! He just physically grabbed the edges of your POV. Shepard no! HE'S BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL!

"It was YOU! YOU ALL ALONG!" He shouts, his eyes showing mix of anger, disbelief, and even a bit of fear. "Well I won't let this continue! I WON'T!"

His right hand quickly dissapears from its hand-hold on your POV. Shepard has drawn his pistol and is now steadying his aim. He's pointing gun directly at the POV. At you!

A smirk starts to play across his face as his finger slowly depresses the trigger. Its right then when the dialog screen shows up.

There has to be another way.

As Shepard single handed stares down the final boss, the corpses of his team around him... he is confronted with the worst enemy that a video game character can face... a console freeze. Looking around in confusion, he starts complaining to the programmers about their shoddy work, and how he was forced to have a romance with Cthulhu girl. As they begin to apologize for the delay and ask him to wait for the patch, he demands them spawn him some weaponry. Grabbing a katana, he decapitates the final boss, and rules the Collectors as their new King.



Later on as you hear the credits roll... you hear the laughter of Evil Chris, mocking you for cheating on your love interest, despite you only accidentally romancing them.
