Some of what I have learned and am still learning are some of the limitations of the characters . Using the same character for a very extended period of time put me in a mind set of being able to play other characters and classes the same way ......boy the stupid mistakes you make on a new character are mind numbing .

Hmm, i've been getting worse at Team shooter games (and sniping...) since qw:tf1.... So not sure about one thing...

- understanding the commercial imperatives in current game design (multiplatform compromise ... No txt chat etc on pc, button linking to spacebar of everything, transaction tempting, what is fixed, banned, and what is not)
- acceptance of silly RNGs and rare drops (but learned that best from rastor of guk long tome ago)
- appreciation of the 'problem child' classes and build diversity. Joint top vorcha engineer > tgi carry.
- patience with the incredibly poor host match system compared to gamespy v0.1 beta release. (helloooo more things than ping! packetloss, bandwidth, stability..... , rejoin?).
- zen for the 3 games in a row where host drops you at wave 10/11...

...Cos its a fun game, (warts and all) and for me, MP was a surprise easter egg in an epic 3 game adventure (ending and all)

Also, I've become better at appreciating the non-existing text chat, now that I play LoL occasionally.

Not getting hit.

I swear, it's like the enemy goes out of their way to get my teammates first.

I started playing WoW again about a month ago, and I rather appreciate the entire Mass Effect 3 community on PC. We don't talk much, but when we do most people are actually decent people to hold a conversation with.

Not so much on WoW, or LoL. Even in PvE content the community of WoW could use some work(although they're not nearly as bad as the PvP people), so I can't give the usual argument of "people are just nicer when it's co-op".

hating pugs, the longer this game goes on the more frustrated I get with them.

although... that has a clear correlation with the number of people active on my friends list.

First started out as a total noob, only played Soldier and Sentinel and even then I wasn't doing it right. After lots of time and effort, I've become MUCH better and can handle every difficulty(though I've yet to attempt a solo plat...could probably do it with enough patience). Not only that but I branched out and learned the glory of tech/biotic combos and the feeling when you're wrecking things left and right as a vanguard specifically. Why? Dunno. Biotic Charge just stuck with me.

Used to be able to barely solo bronze back in the beginning, now even plat's fine...unless it's Scions...I have a personal vendetta against them... ._.

I've gotten better at running away. On a side note, I've also learned how to Drell Adept. It involves lots of drivebys with adrenaline mod 3... and then Gold is easy to not die on now.

Having played the entire trilogy as soldier and infiltrator (save for ME1 class specific achievements), I really enjoyed getting to find out each classes role. Engineers and sentinels are my new babies
