Using consumables.

Usually in games I hoard things. 'I might need it later' I think. 'Save it, just in case.' I am the kind of person who will beat the final boss of a game and only then realise I have x99 Full Elixirs in my inventory or whatever that I could have used to make the game substantially easier.

But ME3MP has slowly been teaching me to cut that crap out. I always load full consumable equipment now, I've learned that I could be using Ops Packs to prevent death instead of using Medigel, and I could be using Rockets to prevent the need to use Ops Packs.

I'm still too frugal with grenades though. Even though I have 255 Clips and will never ever run out of them, I keep trying not to use more grenades than I can get from ammo boxes...

Exactly my thoughts.

Dodging Banshee bolts, javelin sniping, getting out of sticky situations, and escaping the shanking of phantoms. In comparison to when I first started, the occurence of me getting a sword in my gut is way less frequent than it was when I started.

Sniping, running away and staying alive, RHA, reload cancelling...

Some of the things I have become better at may be me3mp specific though.

Also, I have played this game exclusively (online) for over a year, and noticed myself improving significantly at sniping and shooting in general...so....

Does this make me a better gamer in general? I mean, do the sniping skills I have honed on this, work on other shooters?

ME4 isnt gonna be the same, different engine etc...is that going to be a fresh learning curve or have i advanced as a gamer in general?

Kinda pointless to get good at sth that you cant use outside of that specific game

I've played so Krogan and Turian so many times in lieu of other characters that I had to reattenuate myself to combat rolls

I was primarily a single player gamer before this, and since ME3 MP I've noticed that I'm much calmer and do much better in other online multiplayer shooters. The trial version of Gears of War Judgment was an eye-opener to me - I'm very used to being ranked dead last and spend most of the match in the fragged-spawned cycle in the previous online modes of GOW2 and GOW3, but this time I was holding my own. Right hand advantage, aiming and getting headshots, using splash damage from grenades and explosive ordnance, general tactical awareness -- all of these greatly improved from before.

Still a scrub here, but perhaps a bit less of a scrub in the larger world of xbawks online gaming than before!

I am pretty confident that I can play any character fine with my current rich manifest.
Building manifest and trying new characters... just made me better player I guess?

but to answer your question, I play my Proximity Mine Geth infiltrator with most confident when I am hosting, and he indeed is most fun.

I played Fury only 8 times since the introduction of challenge system.
I must have found her quite boring...

In no particular order...

Calling out score wh*res for not helping during objective waves.

Giving randoms a good pug experience.

Swearing without swearing... "Shut the front door!", What the French, toast?" - that sort of thing
