Hi! I am doing a rerun on ME1 and I saw something on Rift station that I am beginning to think I imagined: An asari pointing a gun down 45 degrees on someone. I didn't quite catch what or who she pointed her gun towards but i think it was someone standing on his knees or someone short like a volus or something. I didn't approach because it looked like it might trigger a cutscene or something leading to the fight with the Matriarch (It was a while ago I played the game so i didn't remember how that happened) which I wanted to put last because I wanted to see all that was to see first.

Anyways, I turn around immidiately when seeing this asari to not trigger any cutscene and I go to the restricted section of the station and that leads to me seeing the matriarch. I was pretty sure I just had to go back to the "mess hall" and find the room accessible from there, but there are only dead ends there except for the restricted section leading to the closed labs (or whatever they were called) were Benezia is located. I wander around A LOT to find this other asari before meeting the boss, but to no avail, I can't find her again so I kill the matriarch and can no longer access any part of the station. So, I couldn't find her again, and I am 100% certain I am not crazy or imagined it, but I would very much like a confirmation on that Image IPB

I usually try to not miss any piece of the story, especially since I was not very thorough on my first ME1 run unlike the other games. I looked it up and it might have been Alestia Iallis who is the asari but no information is given on what this scene would have contained. Were/who is this woman and did I miss anything cool? Maybe someone played the game recently and could enlighten me? Thank you very much!

Hi, if I'm not mistaken, there is no other asari in the Rift station other than Alestia Iallis - besides Benezia and her commandos.
If you chose to help doc Cohen instead of rushing to the Hot Labs, she will attack you once you finished the cure. To my knowledge, she never threatened the volus, Han Olar. However, she kills (off screen) the guard at the entrance of the lab and Han Olar tells you where she came from.

What you miss is a fair amount of experience points, and some morality points for helping Zev Cohen. And the joke the scientist tells his coworker in the room where Han Olar is ^_^
