Really? I thought I was quick scoping all the time as auto aim is a huge detriment on console. What do you mean exactly?

I can't tell if you're joking... People who "quick scope" on console primarily use auto-aim to do it, so it's like the same thing. You would just click the zoom button instead of aiming, so you got a lot of hits on mooks that should've been kill shots. You'll be able to line up your headshots really quick if you become aware of how the cursor is dragged.

Sorry I should have put a smiley or something. Yeah I know what you mean. Its not exactly as you desribed but I know what you mean. Very difficult to compare with a pc mindset though but I know where you are coming from. If I were on pc though I would totally be a headshot boss if I could get into it. I do have the game on PC. Maybe its time to make a cross over. Who knows? 

From your second response I think I know what you mean now. You meant that I missed a lot of "headshots" not a whole lot. I'd have a hard time believing my hit ratio was so bad...if so this solo would have been harder.

Any particular reason to choose claymore for this match? (or maybe the question should be 'is reegar being too easy and therefore you didn't use it in this video?'') Personally I found piranha to be very effective against collectors with AP ammo IV, but then again, GI makes piranha even better.

Its personal preference and you can definitely go for the Reegar but there's so much love/hate against it so I didnt use it for this vid just to stave off those comments even though its a pro guide on how to beat this map in an easier way. Guns like the Wraith, Raider, Piranha and even the GPS would work out quite well.

I've watched this twice now, and I'm curious about something you don't mention during the video. It appears like when your powers come back up you are doing a TC followed by a snap freeze. You don't seem to ever cloak then shoot the shotgun.

Am I seeing that right, or is it going so fast that I am missing it?

No youre right...Tac Cloak, Snap Freeze then Shoot but thats not all the time..mostly Tac then Shoot as the recharge speed of snap freeze is slow.

Yeah that was crazy but I had seen that before. I had it recorded it too on a previous attempt as the bug just fell off the side of the LZ. It was hilarious but I had deleted that blooper by accident.

I am going to work on another solo as it seems people are having difficulty with the Phoenix character and for good reason as its a tought one due to his glitched health/fitness...or at least it feels glitched to me as the guy cant take a  hit on platinum but is excellent overall though. Love the character. I have been rocking him since 1999

People still think a person is skilled if he can solo Platinum even though it's been old news since it started. To each their own.

Not sure where the impression came in where I or anyone else here is claiming to be skilled. This post and solo is supposed to be a guide to help you and others defeat the hardest solo you can do on this game intelligently and with tactics. This is not an epeen post at all. 

Also to your note, soloing platinum is nothing new but there is no other guide on defeating this solo at all. This solo has been attempted and completed by other players for sure but this is the only guide out there on how to do this presently. Again, its meant to be a guide on the hardest solo and not an epeen post. I hope you can reread and see it that way as that is the way it was ment to be. Helpful not prideful.

the damage for collector captain/ trooper is weird
u stand in front of him . he get many miss shot. the shield even not down to half
like some timing at 12:18 i know u may use repair matrix. but still won't be able to do this on my PC
