Definitely Academy Award material right there. Those special effects were awesome too!

Also if you can replace the music in the vid with chariots of fire theme when you get time, it would be more EPIC:D

I added the part in the other thread about Germany... that's where I actually did get the Video Pulled. I don't know what's going to happen to it as a consequence, I just "acknowledged" the violation, and then... nothing happened.
Nothing happens. Your video just can't be viewed by people in Germany unless they go through a proxy or something.

This is why if you are doing serious personal video work where you want to use music in the background, you publish to Vimeo, not YouTube. Vimeo takes a much more lenient interpretation of (and IMHO the correct one) copyright laws.
YouTube will automatically take down your video without explanation.

Up until now, I've stuck with using open-license music, to avoid the issue. I've only been editing them together for a little over a week, but I'm already getting through the process much faster, and with fewer hiccups. Searching through attribution licenses for appropriate music has been the longest part of the process, though, so I'm looking to find a long-term solution to that.
A few sources have pointed me to Vimeo, and I think I will be making the jump. At least for certain kinds of videos, anyway.
And anyone hosting "Swimming to Cambodia" and "Powaqatssii" on the same site has to be praiseworthy!

Copyright law is very untested in this area. The publishers want you to be unable to use copyrighted music for personal videos, so they have bullied YouTube into giving them the power to delete anything using a copyrighted soundtrack. Obviously, using unlmited licence music is the safest way to go, but most of that music sucks. For your video you REALLY want the soundtrack to Chariots, because that is what everyone will identify with.
For the record, this is usually a problem from the big 5 publishing houses, the artists themselves are happy for you to use their music, because of the exposure (plus they are generally cool guys). There are some notable exceptions (Metalica, I'm looking at you, you greedy bast*rds).
However, the laws (at least in the US) are that as long as you aren't making money off the music, then it is for your personal use, and you have an implicit licence to use the music as long as you paid for it. Vimeo follows that (correct) interpretation of the law and allows you to post anything, as long as you don't try to sell the derivative product. Since Vimeo doesn't try to operate in multiple counties, it doesn't run afoul of different standards (such as the EU laws).
Plus, Vimeo is a superior site. Uploads are faster, replay is better, and it has better embedding tools. The only thing it doesn't have are millions of trolling teenagers looking at every new video so they can leave rants in the comments section in broken English. I went ahead and purchased the Vimeo Pro awhile back because it was cheap and gave lots of flexibility in the size of uploads.
BTW - I've grabbed a copy of this video, I want to try an edit of it for fun.

Go for it!
And thanks for the post, it's information I can really use. I did a lot of audio editing for work until about 8 years ago, but Video Editing is a little different. I'm really enjoying it, though.

And here I was hoping it'd be a race to the LZ on Rio with four Jugs.
That's so painful... it happened to me in my very first Plat game... we were at the other end of the map, one minute left to go when I started on my way to the LZ. I didn't make it. There were too many enemies in the way and unlike the rest of the team I can't sprint past them. I had to stop and drain something every few meters or I would have died. In the end I was tanking four bosses 10m away from the LZ when the shuttle arrived.
For epic Juggy runs... last night on FBWhite against the Geth I was at the opposite side of the map during the extraction wave. The other three were running all over the map and then camped in the LZ with about one minute left. At the 30sec mark I made my way to the LZ, too... right through hordes of Geth.
I was being followed by 2 Pyros, another one stepped out from the ladder on the right and a fourth was in front of me - there were flames everywhere. Everything was on fire and I walked right through. I wish I could have seen that from my team's perspective as I walked out of a wall of fire.

I was trying to stagger it, so it couldn't keep up with him. It's an old technique I learned when I used to snipe without passives with my Shadow (don't judge me! Back when I was PuGing Silver, it worked great!) I'd see a melee enemy rushing towards a teammate, and the Carnifex has a great stagger chance, so I'd use it to pop them and stop them from humping long enough to get the headshot. Obviously, A P'd Abom can't hug a Juggy, but I wasn't really thiking it through too deeply, since I figured he was toast, and would never make it, anyway.

I haven't checked the size/dimensions, so I don't know if it needs a bit of tweaking to be used in the Dragon Age Character Creator.
