Wow Evolvana, she's beautiful!
I love the ears. I'm with Tallon, I want to touch them.

I like the werewolf, although I feel it could use a bit more dynamism in the upper chest pose, with the arms drawn back a little further and the chest puffed out more, but that's just me
I love the coloring of the elf, but something about her nose and mouth bothers me a little, like it's a little too wide for her face... Maybe even the eyes a little...
But the hair is gorgeous
Lovely colors.

I've seen it and while it's certainly nice, i don't really like the style. Eva is very talented, but that girl in the picture, she's not Leliana to me at all.Evolvana wrote...
You should check Eva Solou's fanart then, all the men drool over her Leliana bathing XD
I made an elf and I will post it too ^^
Don't need her to be half-naked, or photorealistic or anything. Just thought you could catch the essence of her as i see her. Heck, even a chibi Leliana would have been sufficient as i'm a huge fan of your work (even if i don't post frequently here).
Well, one can dream, no?
Btw, that elf turned out beautiful indeed. Again. *tips hat*
@ReubenLiew: Not an artist myself but i think i can see what do you mean. Yes, the mouth is bit too wide, the nose i bit too big, but still, this imperfection adds to the character. Not sure if it was intended, but i find it very nice as it is.

>>Reuben: in fact, I wondered why people on drawings should always look "perfect", like models. I used some of my own photos to learn from them (light, mouth, nose, etc), and the proportions are the same as on that drawing. (And I don't consider myself having a big nose or a big mouth). It just adds realism to portraits, I think. Some people have big ears, small eyes, big nose... everyone is different, there is no standard. Why should realistic drawing always follow the same ways to do noses, mouths, etc.?
It's like people telling me that she looks a little angry and that she should look more "insensible" like an elf. But again, why always do what others do? let's be a little original sometimes ^^
and you're right for the werewolf, the pose is a little basic, I did sketches for my next drawings and added more perspective
>>Inzhuna: I'm happy you like it
>>smore006 : Maybe I will make a chibi Leliana someday ^^ anyway I'm glad you like my elf the way it is XD
>>Maximus: *blushes* thank you so much!! it's very kind of you

Great stuff that you have given us to look at Evolvana. Much appreciated.
Also, if you want to increase your daily comments in this thread, then I would take cues from Eva Solou and make a bunch of Alistair/Zevran art. Sure fire way to get your attendance up in this thread, among other things.

I for one really like her expression, she looks like a fearsome elven warrior, proud and strong.

That is true, and always up to the artist to decide
I'm just weak like that though >.>

>>Bio-boy: you would want some Zevran fanarts then?
>>Inzhuna: thanks a lot! yes, I see her like this. An elegant lady but who can also fight, and who has a strong temper
>>Reuben: don't worry I like having your opinion!
I like knowing what people think about what I do, it's always interesting to know the different opinions

Hey Evolvana!
The picture of the elven lady is very stunning. I like your coloring work, as usual - the skin looks very smooth and is shaded well, as is the hair. The determined expression on her face is also nicely done. Whatever she is up to do, she seems really eager to start it! Oh, and her hair... I like the highlights on top of her head and the waves!
Also, going with the ear-questions of everyone else, I wonder if they twitch a little if you'd touch them. ^^
I just have a question about the eyes... I looked at the picture for a while, admiring this or that detail (I want that pendant in real life!), but then I wondered... does she not have any eyelashes? I know these are hard to draw.. did you leave them away on purpose or to not cover her eyes too much?

Hmmm in fact her eyelids are already black, so it was hard to do visible eyelashes. You can see them but only on the sides ^^
Thans so much for you kind comment, it was my first realistic portrait and I had some trouble to make everything right! for the necklace, it's a typical maori design, there are a lot of necklaces like this here in New Zealand
they are very nice.

Wow, wicked awesome, Evolvana!
She looks so real. Should we warn the guys not to stare too deeply into Medusa's eyes? hehe.

woah its Medussa
If I had to fight her in Dragon Age: Awakenings......I think I would run away. That run away button in the Final Fantasy series would be useful right now...

Your coloring is lovely, Evolvana. I like it the most in your werewolf picture. I almost missed that Medusa picture there! Great work again. I notice the background has me focus on her face and *coughs*lovely*coughs* perm!
Something is not quite right in the elven portrait though, specifically her left eye... or let's just say the farthest one since "left" is discussable.
I think it's angle of the "globe" (not sure how that is called in english) . I think it needs to be a bit similar (but not identical as you noticed) to how the right one looks as now they seem to focus on different directions.

>>TotoroTori: oh yeah I want to see Clash of the Titans too (mostly for Sam Worthington
)
>>Bio-Boy3000: haha, yes the snakes know when something needs to be censored
>>TheMadCat: thanks so much
>>Riven AM: her left arm and hand are supposed to attract the attention of the poor victims XD like if she was cursing them.
>>Greifvogel: Hmm I already did some changes on the eyes of the elf, maybe not enough. You're right, don't look into Medusa's eyes or you'll turn into stone
