I checked DA3 metacritic page "PS3 version" and it seems that there is cover picture with Morrigan in it !.

Morrigan always looks so different in art than she does in game. Did they change her apperance prior to release or something and the art version was the original plan for her?

Concept art never looks the same as in-engine screenshots. Unless the game has a particularly vivid artstyle.

Not even a big Morrigan fan...but dayum, something like that for cover art would be cool. Assuming it'd be at all relevant to the game, that is.

Kind of hoping they don't put a default PC on the cover this time.

I wonder if they are changing her in DA3 to look more like all of her art

To be honest, it doesn't really matter to me, because Morrigan was one of the few characters I've ever seen that I liked better in-game than in the art or the Blur trailers. My opinion only, as far as I know, though.

I don't know what you're talking about and I have an art poster of her (and one nasty-looking Ogre) hanging in my room. But maybe that's just because I think the way she looks in DAO is perfectly fine and it is the art that looks slightly odd to me.

As already stated, thats DAO concept art with the Inquistion name over it. Definitely not the cover art.

I doubt they'd spoil a Morrigan return by putting her on the cover art of a future DA, but if she does end up coming back, my vote would be for the 2nd concept of her. Though looking at her with armor on is ODD. The 1st isn't bad, but that shoulder pauldron...

The rest don't really work for me, though I like Morrigan's hair in the 4th.

Personally I'd rather have the 5th one, it works better for Morrigan's personality

I think if I had it my way I'd take the hair from the 4th, the outfit from the 2nd, changing the color on the right armguard to make it a little darker(or just remove it), and I'd be happy.

I want Morrigan to look familiar, so we all know its her, but to show some evolution. Its been a looong time since her days with the Warden and co.- 12 years, I believe.

In the case of the idea I just put forth, I think she'd look familiar yet grown, as well as(with the hair) look a little motherly, which works nicely in my case since she's the mother of The Old God Baby, who's father was The Warden.

I think I'd make sure the feathers(if they're there) would be as close to her original ones as possible.
