Hey folks,

So it's been over a year now since we started this whole thing.  Thought it might be fun to go back and have a look at some of people's favorite memories from MP.  Share stories of great players you've met, amazing plays that made you shout from your desk or your couch, memorable forum moments, or just whatever.  I'll share a few of mine.

-Close to the end of production, we all had our own N7 USB keys, each with an account on it setup just for MP.  For weeks even when we weren't crunching, come Friday night, there would be a group of people in our dedicated MP room playing rounds until late into the night.

-Hearing Corey Gaspur talk about the fan enthusiasm and the first teams beating Platinum infront of an audience when he came back from ComiCon

-Playing in the Reckoning live stream, watching the chat scroll, a mix of getting Bjorn Taylor to say Mass Effect and Star Wars lines, excitement about the new characters, and teasing Eric Fagnan for not reload cancelling.

-The day BroJo, Derek, myself, and a few others made a dedicated effort to ensure every single forum post on the front page had a BioWare tag.

-Sitting in the MP room with the team, discussing the fact that the Volus didn't appear in the powers screen, because he was too short to show up in frame and what to do about it, before someone came up with the suggestion that maybe he could just stand on a crate...

-The Fury.

-Setting up play with fans nights randomly on a whim, just to play with various community members and get to hear from you all (and let you show me up on the score boards) for a bit.

You guys are an amazing community, that doesn't look to be showing any signs of slowing down.  I'm still getting in weekly games and it looks like a lot of other people are playing regularly too.  You guys are really what makes ME3's MP great, and we love having you, so share some stories!

My first ever game. I was using the Human Sentinel and I had just realized the awesome (back then) killing power and hillarious ragdolls of throw. It was magical.

You guys are awesome and have created a fine product. It could be better but we all know that, and hopefully the next Mass Effect project that comes out can take what you did here and make another enjoyable game. Still introducing people all the time and having too much fun with the Volous vangaurd built for batarian melee fun :P

I really appreciate the effort some people make to write guides and to uncover the game mechanics in detail. It is really interesting and I think it helped to make the game better. The discussion about "Singularity" comes to my mind first, and how you changed the power for example. One got the feeling that you really consider balance changes coming from the community.
Also many funny moments on the forum: korean super-model, N7 Zelda and whatnot.
The game is still fun. Thank you very muuch.

First Gold with a Cyclonic IV, Salarian Engineer and Mattock finger.

Finally getting the Harrier

Discovering how much fun the Phoenix adept is.

My first Silver solo surpassed all subsequent solos since as I felt like I'd single-handedly saved earth..

This might turn into a wall before I'm done.

I share two with you off the top - the BioWare Textplosion day, and that crate story, which I didn't know before, but is now one of my favourites!

- Playing Gold with BSNers for the first time (It was Rouse, Merc and Mus7ang, and I am still ever the shameless name-dropper.) Later that day, playing Platinum for the first time (with anybody!) Having to clutch Wave 7 with my Shadow, and failing. But, Rouse (I think) went to go get a sandwich, thinking he'd come back to a lobby screen. He came back five minutes later to me still flipping around. Shadows can survive a lot...  :P

- The moment "Mission Successful" splashed on the screen after my 93-minute marathon Gold Solo attempt. I believe I high-fived myself, dropped and "we're-not-worthy'd," and ran around in a circle to vent energy. Then I got spectacularly drunk and didn't play far a day. Longest... yootoob... processing... time... ever... And it happened on my Birthday.

- Discovering the Human Sentinel didn't need anything but a gun for using with Warp Ammo to be as deadly as any kit with a Harrier.

- Christmas: Tactical Cloak Wars led to Cyonan's TC thread, mouse shenanigans while the cats were away, befriending Crimson, blaaaaaaaaaarrg and Upinya Slayin. I was stuck in the 'burbs for the holidays, with not much around to do, and BSN became my entertainment for a week. A lot happened in that week...

- Making silly movies out of ME 3 MP Gameplay footage. When I saw the "climax" of Krogan Love, I lost it laughing. I tried to explain what I was seeing to my teammates, but I knew only a well-made film would ever do the moment justice. The Juggy crossing the finish line still blows my mind. The Fying Phantom will always be my favourite, though, because who knew there were all those spectacular verdant mountains with waterfalls back there!?  :o (And a flying Phantom!)

- Speaking of: discovering the backgrounds/scenery of the maps. Condor is the best, and the worst...  :P

- Oh, yeah, starting over on PSN, and playing with Crim, then later duoing Silver with DragonRacer a bunch of times while levelling my guys to 20. If you've never listened to DragonRacer when she plays, I highly recommend it. I believe she gets a new beer after every game or two, and the swear words start to flow a little easier after 4th game, or so. That's when it gets really fun...

Hey, it was nice to see a BioWare tag  in the Forum again, today!  :)

I was hooked at 'play as a Krogan.'

This is the first MP that I've ever actually stuck with for more than a month or two. I've met a lot of friendly people, and watching the community grow was fascinating. I remember struggling to beat my first gold game back in the demo, using my Human Engineer with a Scimitar and scoped Phalanx.

It was amazing to finally play as alien races, and see them co-operating with each other. It was fun to learn how each class played, and how each enemy behaved. The first time I heard a Banshee scream was quite scary (saw her in MP before SP).

I'm forever grateful for you all adding the Volus Engineer. I always wanted an Engineer with Proxy Mine, but I didn't know that I also wanted that kit to create action movie explosions. Well done.

The first time I finally "got" how to play this crazy MP game. The first time I finished FBW/G/G. The first time I clutched a wave. ON BRONZE. The first time I did a BE. The first time I set off a Tech Burst. My first headshot.

OH man all day, all day. More MP in the next ME please.

- Geth Engineer. The one character I never tire of. Must have used at least 50 Respec Cards on it.

- Hunter Mode. Never had a problem with it. The visual effect looks awesome!

- Krogan Rage. Ha-HA! Never had a problem with the visual effect here either.

- Making an Atlas grab a Nemesis.

- First UR unlock. The Scorpion I. Used it for a whole week.

- Getting my first 20 Headshot medal.

- Learning the Reload Trick. Especially with the Claymore.

- Earth DLC. What a masterpiece!

- Learning the patience to snipe. Especially with the Javelin.

- Unlocking my first banners - Mathemagician and Death Guard.

Ha, so it WAS intentional Image IPB

Anyway, I have sooo many good memories, I can´t even list them all.
Among the best definitely Cerberus match on Glacier, where none of us could see turrets and phantoms. I don´t even know how we extracted.
First time playing against Collectors.
Unlocking Asari Justicar I was trying to get for over 2 months.
Femshep banner!

And first match with real people, after two failed bronze solos as I was certain I really really don´t want to play with others....interesting how it turned out Image IPB
