My favorite moment of the MP, is when Volus were introduced.

If they're brought back in ME4's Multiplayer, i'll buy the game on day 1.

Realizing how much fun MP was. I went in think it was going to suck as I don't normally play MP games, now its a year on and I have a growing stack of untouched games.

Being known as the guy with the worst jokes is always fun. (Hey, hey -Why is Barla Von rich?
Because he isn't fri-Volus with his credits!)

That is... an improvement over some of your other jokes. It is still terrible, but an improvement.

As for memories:
  •  Finally getting to play with some of the friends I made back in the ME2 days: Ryoldschool, CoffeeHolic (Mi-Chan), capn233, Xariann, and Xassantex.
  •  Actually playing multiplayer on PC, something I never thought I would do. My laptop is still crap, I still suck, but I actually enjoy playing with my friends on PC. I still prefer Xbox.
  •  Getting fried by CoffeeHolic on Hazard Reactor twice in the same match. I never learn.
  •  Playing as the Vorcha for the first time. "Still alive!"

- being able to help new people in any difficulty, even taking them to gold or platinum just to help them get a few high tier packs.

- playing with people that are on the other side of the world with very little lag even tho im hosting from the U.S. and adding each other even tho we can bearly understand each other :D

- when i found out the MP was Co-Op, but later wished i could squeeze 5 people into a game at the same time.

even with all the bugs, its hard to find another Co-Op that compares to ME3's MP addictability, replay value, and general fun factor.

MP in my opinion was an instant success to me when i played my 1st demo game and discovered it was instant non-stop action with zero cut scene's, plus the style of the action and the way combo's could be done by the team or by ourselves.

also the DLC were great in my opinion, bringing in new play styles not only lengthened the replay, but also gave more people a chance to find their niche for the way they like to play.

anyway just my opinions, would be here all day writing a book if i included everything i liked about ME3 MP.

Jumping onto a silver/gold match against the Geth and trolling the pugs with my GE (I made my GE look like the standard Geth Trooper). Heh-heh-heh...

I've played with you while you were playing vorcha once. Despite not having it at X, you still carried a claymore. You had all my Krogan respect from the start  B)

I've only got a few worth mentioning.

- The Beta. My god, that was fun. Cerberus was challenging but fair, Phantoms were the scariest thing in the game, and anybody fortunate enough to unlock a Krogan, Salarian, or Asari was a god.

- Finding out about Resurgence; I had no idea this game was getting DLC. When I was browsing Gameinformer and saw that we would get to play as a Justicar, Geth, and a Krogan Battlemaster, I almost fainted. Earth was pretty great, too; everyone on my friend's list had a particular kit they were representing in their status (mostly Shadows and Paladins) prior to release.

- Vorcha - I hated the race, but who knew lighting **** on fire and running around screaming about it could be so fun? This race quickly became one of my favorites; I hope they make a return.

- Geth Juggernaut - I'd been wanting to play as an analogue of the Geth Prime forever; I was suggesting a human-sized kit with abilities similar to one. Needless to say, BW went above and beyond with giving us the real deal. I pray that "boss" kits like him make a return in the next installment. My only suggestion would be making them more difficult to obtain.

- I was playing a match on Hazard Glacier against Cerberus (Gold) as the Awakened Collector when three phantoms had me cornered outside the second entrance to the hall near the ammo box in front of the landing pad. They were at the first entrance near the ladder, and they split up to take me down; one went through the building to attack from my left, another charged me head-on, and the last rocketed up to the catwalk above and dropped down to my right. That was the most tactical I had ever seen Cerberus, and I was extremely impressed. I walked away alive, feeling like a badass.

- My first Plat success. The night Earth released, a friend and I rounded up some randoms and decided to attempt Platinum. We had no strategy, and had no idea what we were going up against. We ended up hunkering down in Goddess' lab with a Demolisher, a Geth Infiltrator, and two others. It was chaos; people were going down left and right, there were explosions happening on the other side of the map, and turrets littered the battlefield. Somehow, we ended up getting a full extraction on our first try and decided to quit while we were ahead. After that match one of the randoms sent me (and I guess my friend) a message titled "Holy ****"; I remember laughing because I was thinking the same thing.

-Hating the idea of MP, then falling in love with it after playing.

-First time ever playing a quarian in a ME game.

-Discovering asari vanguard.

-First gold match during the demo. FBW with an asari adept with Carnifex.

-Much more DLC than I ever would have expected.

-Introductions of Krogan vanguard, batarians, and vorcha. KV seemed like such an OP idea at the time.

-Learning to get in close and melee / dance with the enemy instead of just standing back and unloading DPS.

-Bringing back ammo-less guns.

-Addition of new difficulty and faction (not the best implemented, but mad props for working within their limitations)

-Tons of Dev interaction for a full year.

Every single time.

Wishlist for ME4: Small character dialog trees. Much like Starsiege Tribes or Defiance. A little chat window that lets my Krogan guffaw on command would be most welcome.

This, or gestures like Dark Souls :D

Another great idea B)

The next XBOX/PC is adding support for weekend event achievements. It's pretty cool to see something so directly applicable to ME3 MP and its possible successor.

Not my favorites, but a couple of my most memorable:

First time seeing a Possessed Abomination die.

Lashing a Posse Bomber out of my way while heading for extract. And watching it sail right into the EZ with a few seconds on the clock... And that's when I started calling them Posse Bombers.

Reckonging DLC trailer and release :o

Maybe because it was so recent but the scene where it's revealed that we can play as a mo fn COLLECTOR just sent me into such a nerd frenzy!

That and going after all of the different challenges never gets old.  I really hope to see even more of those in ME4 MP.

The first biotic explosion I detonated. Jaw dropped to the floor.

The first and only time I score two double headshots back to back. God bless stupid marauders!

My first 4 krogan group. Pure awesomeness.

Unlocking the Turian Sentinel. He was the character I was most excited for and to this day he's my favorite kit. (Please bring him back in ME4:) ).
Unlocking the Krogan Soldier and GPSG and headbutting Silver to hell back in the day.
My first Gold game with mission successful. Kroguard with Disciple SG lol.
My first gold solo. Krogan Sentinel on Giant vs Reapers.
Fighting the Collectors for the first time on Hazard Dagger with my shiny new Havok Soldier the day Retaliation came out.
Learning that there were going to be new Turians in Retaliation.
First Platinum game. I searched for White/Geth/Plat and nearly crapped myself when Cerberus started showing up.
First Platinum success without camping.
First Plat solo. Turian Ghost on Giant/Cerberus.
Meeting some really cool people.

Can't help but notice certain sense of finality flowing through the threads like this. I refuse to accept that this gloomy outlook even if i'm just deluding meself. In my eyes ME3 MP is far from being done for. PUG PC is active as it was about three months ago when I just started MP (yep, i'm one of those reluctant-at-first-converted-immediately SP players who came to MP for the GR). Anyways, I digress... Favourite moments so far:

- Good people met during the journey - some just staying for a game, some ending up on the friend list.
- Adrenaline rush and "what-just-happened" amusement after being wiped in the first wave of my first MP match ever. That was attempt to solo against Cerberus on the Dagger map.
- Finally discovering how to Medi-Gel after watching one of the BSN members' videos! Yes, I could not figure out what to press to use Medi-Gel for probably first five games.
- Unlocking first Asari Kit, unlocking Second Asari Kit, well unlocking each and every of the Asari Kits! :)
- Unlocking first Banner (Council Operative).
- Unlocking Combat Mastery so I can sport that community contest winner banner with Grunt on it.
- First weekend challenge and first Commendation Pack
- Operation Lodestar and that Banner Motto!

That's probably it, for now, but i'm looking forward to many more!

Still making them, and already too many to recount, but a few favorites:

The first time I got up enough courage to actually *talk* to my teammates during a match: it was the weekend challenge with London extractions, and I was making my first forays into silver after a month of playing bronzes. I was terrified that all I would hear was how lousy I was, but after listening to two pleasant fellas chat through 7 waves, I finally uttered my first words into the mic. Their reaction was hysterical, and Gotstahavfun and Lynwood remain two of my bestest Live buddies to this day!

Also, Kroguard training with L0rd L0ki to learn the skills I needed to solo Gold, some of the funniest duos I've ever played!

And my heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful players I've run into for their patience, good humor and deadly skillz!

I still remember my first Gold extraction as a level 36 Drell adept with a Widow (yes, I was that noob).

All the times I got the first card with a new weapon. Especially the Black Widow.

Trying out new characters for the first time. I think the Vorcha was the most funny/thrilling to debut with.

I mostly play with PUGs. And yes, there are some terrible ones out there. But there also are many bright lights. I remember for instance one Turian on a wave 10. We had a disable objective. We had one left, but 3 of us went down. This Turian was close to it but was clearly concentrating on killing enemies. Maybe he wanted to clear the area so he could do the objective nice and quietly. As the timer reached 50-40 seconds left, though, you could almost visibly see his change of thoughts: "Damn, no way I am gonna survive this. But I will finish the mission!" He just stopped shooting at enemies right in front of him, ran to the objective and started the countdown. Enemies were closing in fast and he was getting shot at. Just as the timer went out and the announcer declared the mission completed, he died. It was true Turian spirit: "Victory at any cost!"

Edit: Thinking about it, my level 36 Drell was not carrying a Widow since it took a long time to get it. It was probably a Mantis. But it's still noobish.

-Playing as non-human classes.
-MP opened my eyes to the other classes and although my solider will always be my main SP character, I've subsequently played with every other class through ME1-3 to experience all abilities/powers.
-That weekend event that made us play as Krogan, Batarian or Vorcha (Operation Savage, I think?) and having a four-Krogan team.
-Finding myself scribbling numbers on a piece of paper during my lunch break at work, figuring out the best build for a character I unlocked the previous night (I still do this now, though I typically use Narida to do the numbers for me).

The biggest thing, though, is that I don't typically play multiplayer, especially with random people. ME3's multiplayer is so enjoyable I can't keep away and as most of my XBL friends have moved on to other games I typically PUG these days. I intend to keep doing so until the game dies!

- My first gold extraction
- Unlocking the N7 Fury. It took me forever to get her, even if I was playing a lot after Earth DLC.
- My first platinum extraction, with a PUG
- Playing with my aussie buddies with a hell lot of lag but having fun anyways
- Finding out on FB that my little cousin from Australia did play this game too. I've never met him so I played with him, and talked to him for the first time in this game.
- Getting my BotB banner. I didn't think I'd go for it at first but when the only banner I didn't have was the N7 one, I started the long and painful grind. I was super proud to finish it.
- Every weekend challenge. It was so awesome to find all of your friends online to do them. I have a fond memory of Lodestar.
