- The day I could not deny it anymore.... I spend more time in the MP then in all the ME's SP's combined. And that was a lot of hours.

-The day BroJo, Derek, myself, and a few others made a dedicated effort to ensure every single forum post on the front page had a BioWare tag.
Hee Hee. I remember that. But any and every time the BW tag would appear on a thread was a cause for celebration. It was great how often you all got involved.
Of course there were all the firsts... 1st time we extracted (took 3 tries iirc), 1st time my newbie HFE with phalanx I clutched the wave killing a whole atlas by myself!, 1st time I soloed bronze, 1st time I played with a BSN celeb in a PUG and didn't get too embarassingly outscored, 1st Gold solo.
Learning to finally love a few characters and guns that I just couldn't get my head around until the challenge system begged me to try them again.
The treats we got.... Femshep banner, community banners, Halloween and birthday themes inside the game.
The DLCs.
With the first I was surprised we even got MP DLC.
With the second I was loving this vastly increasing choice and astounded it came out so quickly after the first.
Then we got Earth.. those characters... those maps... everyone unique and amazing.
Then collectors (arrrgh!) and the challenges!
And the most unique characters yet in the final one, when I thought there was no more yet to come. The livestream of that was so much fun too!
...but most of all... The friends I made...(You know who you are:wub: )
Have fun

1. Day 1 in the Demo
- I finished downloading the demo to go play the multiplayer with my friend and I was thinking to myself; First for the series, don't get your hopes too high up there for a good MP experience...Well, 6 hours later playing the same two maps, my friend & I took a dinner break, and then put in another 6 hours of game play in. We were entirely hooked into the game and I was happy to see that I was wrong for having doubts..
2. First Quarian character
- First character I really wanted was one of the Quarians. I just fell in love with their race during Mass effect 1 listening to Tali and then Mass effect 2 when I got to meet other Quarian characters. So, when the day came that I finally unlocked a Quarian character, I just about did a backflip and threw my arms up in the air in cheer. These days my Quarian characters are still my favorite kits to play and honestly I could never experience the same joy with the other characters like I have with my Quarians.
3. The first moment of feeling awesome
- Was playing Firebase: Dagger against the Geth as my Female Quarian Infiltrator using a Valiant sniper rifle. The MP was still young at this time, maybe no more than...a month old I think. We had a Hack and my team went to go do the objective. I was up in the sniper tower as I call it, I had this feeling of; I need to hold off the enemy while my team hacks the objective. Geth Troopers, Rocket Troopers, and Geth Pyros just started charging for my team, but I never allowed one single Geth a chance to fire upon them. The fast reload of my Valiant, the bonus damage of tactical cloak, careful aim, sabotage, and one Thermal pack aided me in that moment. Happy to say that we all extracted against the Geth that day and no N7 was left behind.
4. The first time I truly felt part of the N7 community
- Earth DLC had just launched no more than a day or two ago. My team was playing on Firebase London against the Reapers and I was playing my female Quarian Engineer. It was a normal wave, nothing real special. But, there was a single moment in that game that I wish I could have captured in a screenshot. This Turian player and I took cover behind some rubble, both hip firing over it so it gave that appearance of us kneeling while firing, and our two other partners (I forget what races they were) stood up behind us out of cover to fire over our heads. It was in that moment I didn't feel like I was just some other player in the game, I felt like I was actually a Brother-in-Arms fighting alongside my Brothers and Sisters to defeat the Reapers.
I could go on longer about the memories I've had in this game, but honestly who wants to read a whole wall of text? Not to mention it's still early in the morning for me and I haven't had my first cup of coffee heh.
Coming into this multiplayer though and going through the different experiences I had since the start of it, I never once had a moment where I said; I want to be better than everyone else, I want to be top dog, I want to be the one person that everyone will remember.
I wanted to be that player who fought alongside his allies and never backed down from the enemy. I wanted to be that player you knew going into the game, would have your back, and would aid the team to victory over the enemy. I don't know if I left that mark or not, but what I do know is this; I've enjoyed this multiplayer a lot and can only hope to experience even more joy in the future in Mass effect alongside others.
Thank you BioWare for your work in making this multiplayer fun, thank you for the hours of work you all put into it, and thank you for the events that made the community work together. I hope the next Mass Effect multiplayer will be even better than this one, because in the end of it all I still feel this multiplayer is better than all the other multiplayers out today. This is just my opinion though, one in a sea of many.

Can't help but notice certain sense of finality flowing through the threads like this. I refuse to accept that this gloomy outlook even if i'm just deluding meself. In my eyes ME3 MP is far from being done for. PUG PC is active as it was about three months ago when I just started MP (yep, i'm one of those reluctant-at-first-converted-immediately SP players who came to MP for the GR). Anyways, I digress... Favourite moments so far:
I certainly didn't mean to imply that. Our community is still going strong, and we're still playing around the office. Just figured that since DLC at least is done it was a good time to reflect.
You guys all have some amazing memories, it's been a pretty awesome ride so far, and looking forward to continuing to see new challenges come out of the community, new interesting builds, and lots of cool gameplay videos.

Personally, I had a lot of really fun moments while visiting this forum as well as while playing the game. I'm very glad BioWare recognizes that interacting with their fans via this forum and other means greatly extends the life of their game. I know personally, I probably wouldn't have played the game for as long as I did if I didn't meet or join some of the great players on here and learn from others' builds/videos/etc.
Still pretty hilarious^^

- Soloing most of a wave on gold. Geth engineer, stun locking everything with overload.
- Unlocking a volus first day they came out, and then rolling on the ground in front of PUGs.
- BEEG MACHEEEENE!
- Getting the superspeed bug and the vanguard glitch at the same time. Flying kroguard, zipping about the map, giving a new player completely unrealistic expectations of the class.
- While I'm talking about bugs, there's the time I managed to take down two banshees while glitched by just charging and discharging barrier. Took about ten minutes; I could hear the other two players (who got hugs) going on about how it wasn't possible in the background.
- The first gold solo. Such a feeling of epic achievement.
- Claymore X.

First time I played on Giant Hazard was Reapers and that was so approriate I thought and creepy!
Ghost Hazard is still my favourite map of all what with the rain and the lighting, reminds me a little of a Blade Runner setting.
First time on Condor I pulled a Marauder or something and just watched as he sailed into the sky, that was also awesome =)

Thanks for reassuring words Chris, it is great to hear them from you!!!
Indeed, it is good time to reflect and all the responses to your thread are a proof of that. And I can't agree more with what you're saying about ME3 MP community that emerged and evolved over the last year (and continues to evolve). As I mentioned, I was one of those "lurkers in the dark" for most of the time, nevertheless I grew to value and appreciate immensely what is offered here. To be honest I haven't seen social interaction to this level around any other game where developer takes so much interest in hearing what community has to say, acts on this feedback, and effectively becomes part of this community.
And now, in my opinion, it is even more important for the community to ensure that its voice remains loud and clear (here and in the game itself) so that there's no doubt in BioWare/EA eyes that there's merit in keeping this service operational...
P.S. Apologies for the wall of text...

Chris, I hope you guys will do some more community game nights now and then!
There are too many memories, and many more to come. I've had some great moments playing with friends, but I have to say the most memorable stuff comes from these here forums.

-When I got my first fire explosion in the demo as a human engineer. Spent an hour trying to figure out what was guaranteed to trigger it (lag and long cool-downs was making it hard to reproduce).
-Joining a friends game in progress during the demo right as they all bled out, and soloing the remainder of the wave.
-Getting a Widow during my first week of the main game, to which my friends responded "[We're] glad you're going back to college."
-Getting the Carnifex.
-Beating gold for the first time.
-Changing one of our friends from a bronze player to a gold player in 3 weeks.
-The ****storm when Volus were hinted at.
-Using lore and what I was learning in school to justify the Volus being in multiplayer.
-Playing as a Volus.
-First time I dropped an possessed abomination (and every time after that).
-Receiving post-game compliments for my Volus' actions.

Also the feeling I get after clutching a wave 10 objective by myself, and I just hear the others in the lobby praise me.
My first ever gold solo also was insane (even though it now seems so easy)
The game is amazing, so many great moments.

The first time I saw a Banshee. I jumped right into the MP day 1 and didn't bother with the SP for a few days. It was Bronze and on wave 7 I heard that scream. That eerie, make your skin crawl scream. I had no idea what it was at all then BAM!! Teleported through the wall at me. I screamed like a little girl and ran away faster than I ever have before or since.
My first double headshot. I was using a Mantis, although I forget what level it was. There were two Guardians coming down the long hall of Firebase Dagger and I popped both of them. I had just discovered how amazing piercing mods were. This was one of my first Silver matches and I felt like a total badass.
The first time I had to clutch a Gold wave. It was wave 10, I had to finish the hack and eliminate the remaining enemies. I had just unlocked the Widow and thought I would try it out. It was for that OP that required Reaper Gold, and I was by no means a Gold player at that point. So there I was, alone with my Widow I and my trusted FQI, with the entire teams Comm packs on the line and I pulled it off. I couldn't believe it. I finished wave 10 to the cheers and praises of my team having just got all of us our Comm Packs. Extraction came and I was murdered without mercy about 5 seconds into the extraction wave.
Platinum 10 waves survived. This was for Operation Lodestar. My crew and I decided we should go for the Insanity Comm Pack. I don't even remember any kind of issues this game. We were all just joking and messing around, having an absolute blast and before we knew it, it was wave 10. Huh, weird, that was fast. After we finished the wave we had that gold medal pop up, 10 Waves survived. We were all just kinda stunned. We had hit 5 waves once or twice before, but 10? That was just crazy, and one hell of a way to finish the Weekend Operations.
I have met some amazing players over the past year, players I would gladly call some of my best friends and it is all because of this gem of multiplayer game. While I may not play that often anymore it will always be an important part of my gaming history. The MP that could, and did. I find myself looking forward to future Mass Effect titles simply in the hope that the MP tradition continues.
Oh and one more thing! The first time I used a Vorcha to rip the face off of a Cerberus Trooper. That over cover grab is beautiful. It was because of that grab that the Vorcha quickly became one of my favorite, and most deadly, kits.
