One old memory and two new memories.

1. Rise of a Quarian god
-Was playing with some friends on Firebase: Vancouver on my Male Quarian Engineer and sadly I got grabbed by a banshee while fighting off a horde of Husks. Now the round wasn't a task round or the extract, it was just a normal round. So after she killed me, the following is how things played out...

Me: Ugh! Oh well...I can drink some tea at least. Hmm think I will watch this friend of mine while I wait for the round to end.
*Suddenly is revived out of the blue even though he died to a banshee grab*
Me: Wait...what? How the? I didn't fall through the floor and the round isn't over! I LIVE AGAIN! =D

To this day I don't know what happened to cause me to come back to life. A banshee did grab kill me, I didn't fall through the floor or anything glitch related, and the round wasn't over. I just set my controller down to watch my friend and then after about 6-8 seconds my character comes back to life for no reason.

My Male Quarian Engineer is now nicknamed (jokingly of course) Taer'Jesus even though his true character name is Taer'Reora.

2. Shorty likes to cut it close!
- A short volus memory from yesterday (lololol short volus....) Was running my volus Adept with a Geth Juggernaught, Turian Sentinel, and one unlucky N7 Demolisher who got caught by the countdown while setting up skills. We were on Firebase: Reactor non-Hazard

I had to go save the Turian Sentinel from getting killed and there it was; One possessed Collector trooper. I quickly hit it with my stasis bubble, got closer to kill it with a few head shots of my M-11 suppressor, and then saved the Turian Sentinel. The Collector's foot was actually inches from stomping on the turian, but little shorty volus 'Volkis' had to interrupt that with a stasis and three shots of the M-11 suppressor.

3. Can't touch this brah!
- Wave 10 of the same game as Short likes to cut it close! My team and I were on the far end of the map away from the player spawn in area. We got a key target objective and little shorty volkis is feeling good. Second key target comes up and I pull out my rocket launcher, but then it is noticed...SECOND KEY TARGET IS ALMOST AT THE PLAYER SPAWN! D=... So...time for a little fun with faces!

:? - Lets see if luck is on my side. *Takes careful aim and fires for the far wall even though he couldn't tell what the target was*
<_< - *Long rocket whistle follows....* I just wasted a rocket...
 - *Rocket kills the key target which was a scion*
:o - SHORTY NAILED IT!
:D - Insert Volus throwing down his rocket launcher and starts to dance to MC Hammer - 'Can't touch this' here

and no, the shot was not down the reactor, it was on the far left side of the reactor. I was in the far back and the enemy was in that little hallway off to the far right of the player spawn (Far left if you're on the other side of the map)

Yesterday was a good day...
B)

PS: If your entire day is now filled with a mental image of a Volus dancing to MC Hammer, I'm not sorry.

I really liked the Develpper interaction - like that day you guys had Bioware tags on every thread. Good times.

Getting the Harrier to level 10.
Getting the awakened collecor adept and going up against collectors.
Playing as a Geth Trooper (read: Pyro). I even tried to get the colors right.
Weekend Challenges.
Solo Mastery.
My first banner.
Holiday ops and banners.
Operation Tribute.
The first time I ever cooked a Volus in Hazard Reactor.

Melee of all kinds, especially when sending mooks into the stratosphere. QFI heavy melee bug being the cherry on top.

Blowing up possess abomination. I giggled every time.

"Oh ****" point blank headshotting a phantom with the quick scoped Widow.

Kroguard charge-reviving teammates who were about to be executed.

Playing, winning, and dying with all the friends I made. Never played an online game of any kind before. Oh man, what fun. Especially the thematic games.

The first few nights of Ceberus/Platinum/Glacier speed running that I did. It lost its appeal pretty quick, but the adrenaline rush was extreme.

Overall, drellguarding was the most fun.

Being able to finish the two solo gold missions and get the Lone Wolf banner.
With others, being in all Asari teams and setting up endless chains of biotic explosions.
For characters, unlocking the Geth Infiltrator.
For weapons, unlocking the Saber and the Javelin V.

When gold meant saving equipment and running with 3 other good players to even have a chance at completion.
Gold endgame was and will always be better than the joke platinum is.
I had more fun in the demo with 2 maps and 1 enemy than in the entire time spent playing the full game waiting for balance that never came and enemy bull**** that was never fixed.

The game had potential and I spent most of my time playing just hoping for things to get better but they never did.

I remember my first attempt at Silver. I took my human soldier into a match on Dagger, and it was rough. It seemed like the whole team was new to Silver too, because it was just a complete mess as far as people dying went. By wave 4 or 5 I was sticking close to this Turian because we seemed to be able to keep alive better. No mic, so it was just one of those things that happened. The other 2 guys kept running off and dying, and I still remember on Wave 9 only me and the Turian had managed to not get sync killed.

So we basically started falling back from one spot to the next around the map. It was rough, but it just felt epic to be in one of those matches where you give ground while fighting like hell. It was one of those last ditch, no quarter standoffs, and it was fantastic. In the end we wiped, but even now, about a year after that, I still remember that match because of how awesome it felt to go down fighting back to back like that. I'll never forget my last stand with my nameless Turian squadmate.

I've had other memorable experiences, but that was the first major experience I had and it always stuck with me.

More generally, I've had a lot of fun with matches where everyone were krogan and we would headbutt everything that moves.

I still get a kick out of going back down to bronze sometimes if it's a whole squad of new players and just laying back and watching them have at it. I tend to lay back on the throttle in those matches, just watching and picking up the new guys. But their enthusiasm just makes the game new for me sometimes.

Like in one match on Glacier, on a priority target mission, it seemed to be taking a long time. So I headed downstairs to see what was going on and lo and behold, the target was a Guardian. And every member of my squad was faced off with a seperate guardian, and all of them were trying to melee/head butt their way through the shields. I was laughing so hard i almost forgot to kill the Guardian before the timer ran out. But that kinda thing just makes me remember when the game was fresh and new for me.

Mostly though, I've enjoyed playing with the people I've met on here and added to my friends list. I've met some cool people, and we've had a lot of fun playing this game.

The first time I ran the Drellfiltrator...watching all of those enemies become red silhouettes, then seeing them crumple to the ground was, and still is, a thing of beauty.

Getting my Carnifex to X, and thinking I'd never need another weapon, ever again...

Clutching a Gold match for the first time - when I started, I never thought I'd even make it to Gold!

Learning the joy of shotgun infiltrators. When I first tried the claymore GI, all it did was get me killed that much faster, as I fumbled with prox mine and always missed that first shot. Now I understand the beauty of going right up to their face and watching it disintegrate with the mighty blast from cloak.

Great game, I can't wait to see what Bioware has in store for the next ME multiplayer experience!

Well i have a lot of memories to share. The demo days, beating gold, the first encounter with phantoms and banshees, free dlcs, making sacrifices in honor of the rng gods, learning different builds and playstyles from youtube players, browsing the forums to check the weekly updates, the nerf anti-nerf topics, beating platinum etc... I had a wonderful experience, sure there's a lot of room for improvement in the next game, but overall i'm glad i've played for so many hours.
I'll miss playing with my batsoldier.

Farming FBW/G/G back in the day. Went to use my level 10 SE and said "Don't worry guys my decoy is mucho grande."

Much laughter and someone said "WHAT?? Your decoy is very big?"

I now keep that in my bio, and am reminded of it from time to time.

When I found out that you could play as one of those sweet aliens that in SP all I got to do was either shoot at, or talk to...

so I would have to say my favorite moment was when I unlocked the Krogan Sent and the pure joy of running around the map headbutting everything to death.

The glory days of FBWGG.

Doing weekend challenges with friends.

Meeting so many great players and cool/funny people.

My first game (after the beta). It was a month after my first RGB experience. I was broken, ready to give up on this series when I decided "ah **** it dude. Let's go bowling MP." It was Glacier bronze Cerberus as a human female Vanguard. I had shockwave and wasn't quite sure how to spec it. It was glorious! Just seering the Scorpion and N7 Hurricane with ULM reminded me of how long its been since I've used that particular kit.

- Oh, yeah, starting over on PSN, and playing with Crim, then later duoing Silver with DragonRacer a bunch of times while levelling my guys to 20. If you've never listened to DragonRacer when she plays, I highly recommend it. I believe she gets a new beer after every game or two, and the swear words start to flow a little easier after 4th game, or so. That's when it gets really fun...

Holy time warp Batman!

DragonRacer is hella fun to game with agreed. Shame she doesn't play as much anymore.
