Holy time warp Batman!
DragonRacer is hella fun to game with agreed. Shame she doesn't play as much anymore.
Man, somebody's been digging up the memories lately. ![]()
Thank you kindly for the words, my dears. I've actually started blowing the dust off again. Won't be anywhere near like how much I played those first two-three years, but I've been trying to do Sunday afternoons every other week or so. ![]()

That made me smile.
Although it was probably the easiest one to complete IMO, I appreciated the effort that they made with the pumpkin devices etc.
Now I'm hungry...

I'll always remember the Halloween 'challenge' fondly.

Yeah the weekend challenges were fun times. I remember a few off us trying to complete the biotic explosion challenge (to lazy to look it up for correct details etc). It was mayhem trying to figure out primers and detonators and who got what, but we had a laugh getting there.
I used to sit in work on a Tuesday afternoon and wonder what gun I'd get in my pack....
Praying for a Valiant.
Sacrificing goats to avoid an Eagle.
It's amazing how times change.

felt good man to be around yup when those challenges were up.
I remember Operation Lodestar fondly, great ps3 community help provided in that one. Tried to catch as many weekend challenges as I could, wasn't around for some weekends tho unfortunately.

The typhoon when it first came out! ![]()
The Destroyer getting released.
The first time I saw a swarmer jump on someone and they died from it.
Camping in that little room on Glacier with Biotic Sphere, Reave, 2 Smashes, Annihilation Field and Dark Channel. We laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed.
Getting the Black Widow and learning the PPR charged up.
The day I made one of my good online friends rage quit because I kept burning him with the Geth Trooper and telling him "Watch out theres a pyro on you!!11!1!" I would also wait until there really was one and the final time it really was one and he had rage quit before his body even hit the ground.

I've had several fond memories.
I still remember my very first MP match. I hosted a private solo lobby for my level 1 human soldier against Cerberus on FB Glacier. I went down immediately on my first encounter with a Cerberus Trooper and I felt like, "Wow! This game is fun!"
Eventually, after a few solo bouts of failure, I was starting to survive waves. One time, I had a public lobby but went in solo. I was at around wave 4 when I went down and was prepared to just bleed out. Then, 2 players dropped into my lobby and revived me. We won that match. That felt really good. It's as if Alliance sent out reinforcements to save me. ![]()
I also always enjoy medic plays, especially with the volus shield boost after a cloak+revive. Geth Engineer's medi-turret deployment and then revive also fits this one. One time, a guy far off from where I was went down and another teammate went to revive him. So, I deployed the geth turret where he was to replenish his shield. I've had countless of times where guys on the voice chat would give me the "Thanks man!". It's a nice warm fuzzy feeling to be helpful for a change.
Predicting someone getting banshee grabbed and then missiling him/her free. In one platinum on Rio, one guy went down near the walkway towards the center ammo boxes. I went in, revived the dude and saw a horde of banshees and brutes about to take him out. So, I used a missile to clear the way while he gets up from a revive. ![]()
My very first cleared platinum is definitely up there as far as memories go. I was so nervous because for a while I had just been playing... well... Bronze!
The friends I was with where there to support me though. They kept telling me on the voice chat to just relax and that it's going to be easy. The platinum bouts really helped me become a better player. ![]()
Lastly, a shout out to starbuck2190. We may not play together anymore, but you're the main reason I am playing on PC, so all those long afternoon matches are cherished memories. ![]()

Oh, there was the time I told my friend that Banshees could only be killed with melee. Hilarity ensued. Finished the other 99% of that wave myself. ![]()

I had got so used to the time delay of the jav that I couldn't shoot properly with normal snipers for quite a while.
If I had to pick one gun to rule them all...
Microsecond delay Jav 'whooop' in your cute little Nemisis face..
Baby!

Killing all 8 enemies with a single missile on Wave 10 Platinum Collectors after completing the objective always feels really great especially the first time I did it.

I forgot the name of the map. It's been a while. The snow one where you spawn at the helipad.
I remember when you could camp at the back and farm geth all day, with one player spamming hologram over the counter. I remember doing this for a whole day with a group of random people - we all stuck together. I was a salarian with the hologram and then I was the geth with tactical cloak and the one that makes the screen red. I remember going into cloak with my sniper rifle and I was pretty much one-shotting geth primes in the head. That was a glorious day. So much credits were earned.

You mean Firebase White Geth Gold?
I always found farming that so relaxing. It's a shame they changed it.
Though there was that one time...

My first (attempted) gold solo. It was with a krogan vanguard vs geth. Memorable because after roflstomping 99.9% of it, I forgot to get to the extraction point and failed.
My first non-cheesy gold solo, with an asari huntress vs reapers.
The time I headshotted a phantom just as she was about to skewer a pug teammate. He was so happy, lol
That one gold/reapers/Rio game with Argent, where I was playing a vorcha and she had an N7 Shadow. I think we also had a couple of pugs along, but if so, they didn't do much. I was playing terribly (even more so than normal), and on wave 10, got grabbed early on. If there were any teammates, they were either dead as well or had DC'ed. So Argent was left to solo the entirety of the wave, which she did in the best way possible: up close and personal, shotgunning and slashing things to pieces. No running in circles around the map, spawn nuking, hiding in the box of shame, or whatnot. It was the most badass display of mastery I'd seen up to that point, and still holds up well in my memory. I'm pretty sure that to her, it was Thursday.
