I have completed the game, and have unlocked EVERY SINGLE specialization in the game, and JUST today, I have noticed that in one of my new characters' games, when I went to level him up (as a warrior) NONE-I repeat: NONE of the specializations were unlocked.

Can somebody, especially someone from Bioware please tell me what in the hell is going on?  I've worked SO hard to unlock all of that, and now POOF, its gone! Is it possibly because of the 360 patch that was release? I heard something about this in regards to the RTO dlc, however I never got the opportunity to dl that.

Somebody, for the love of God PLEASE HELP!

It has something to do with the new Xbox patch.

Yes. It is the new patch. As others have mentioned, there might be a way to fix it.

Go into the system blade and select memory.

Select your hard drive and press Y for system maintenance.

It asks if you want to do maintenance. Say yes.

This will delete the update.

Now, go into the game. Find a character save that is in a place or has a disposition that can get a specialization unlocked. (f.ex. I opened a game where the female mage had a romance going with Alistair, so she could get alistair to agree to train anyone interested in Templar.)

That unlocks a specialization (you might not get any kind of indication from the game when it unlocks because it had been unlocked before and somewhere the game knows that)

Save game. Leave game. Turn off 360.

restart and

Now hopefully you have a character just about to level to either level 7 or 14, or has a point accrued to specialization. Once you level, all your previously unlocked should be back.

This is how it worked for me. Now I'll see if it lasts. I did save and leave again, and then restart and reopen, but haven't had to re-level yet. However,

Here's a telling point.

With the error (specializations), dog loses all his "Warrior skills"

Once the error is reversed and things are back to normal, dog's warrior skills return. This has happened for me.

I hope this helps some folks.

I've accessed my hard drive and pressed Y, however it says nothing about preforming system maintentance, and I only see options to either format or clear the system cache, so what do I do???????

I cleared cache and about a half-hour later they came back on their own. I hit lvl. 7 with a new char., no specs. Turning my box off and on did the trick. Someone named Fizban noticed this delay first but it may not work for everyone. My acct. and GT are linked now thanks to DA Care but it's worth a try. Maybe the info is on ms servers? I did not buy a book or retrain to get specs back, just CC and wait 30.

Just go onto system setting and then memory, when you are give the option to acess you hard drive insead of pressing A like you normally would press Y instead and then select the option clear system catche. After that you should have all of your specializations back it worked for me
