It would be so funny to me, if Jacob wasn't recruitable after all this time. If instead we were introduced to a different Cerberus Operative. It has probably been confirmed by several game reviewers by now though.

Wiki has him as a party member.

There ARE 12 characters that can go on the ground and fight. Shepard and 11 party members.....that's right I said 11. The Cerberus Network Card will give a recruitable party member that is a human male Bounty Hunter(fairly old too). There was a full detailed article on him but priestly and BioWare already saw that it was deleted. The info is accurate though...it just got out before BioWare wanted.

People were swearing up and down that they saw "12 recruitable squadmates" on the ME2 website. I seem to recall seeing that too. Then it got moved to 10. So i think there is 1 more after this new merc character, not including Shepard. EA probably had bioware cut two characters from the game and offer them up as DLC. Not surprising from them.

I really wish Legion isn't a squadmate,and it just an enemy compared to Saren.

Not against it,but would prefer him a "bad guy".

I would say Legion is pretty well confirmed at this point. Although, come to think of it, this day one DLC thing may throw a wrench in that. But considering how the achievements are listed, I am pretty confident that Legion is number 10.

Not sure why people think this DLC character will take a place of another. The article befre being taken down stated that the new char would be number 11.

Wiki isn't the best source unless they cited it, but I think that it is a lock that Jacob is a party member. He just hasn't been confirmed on the universe section.

3 party members are female and if your shepard is than thats 4 of of 12, that's a little lopsided.

Okay so we've got 6 squad members currently on the site, one who has been officially confirmed is Jacob.. no idea why he isn't currently up there.



Secondly Garrus whom is definitely in yet not confirmed by Bioware, and we got the new DLC character (his name escapes me) and Legion who has strong evidence supporting him (it?) as a squad member.



So really that, ideally, leaves one more.. since it's the dirty dozen.
