I should probably read those books...

They are both quite good. Especially the second. With what I learned there, I felt like I knew exactly what ME2 was about once Casey gave a couple hints in the first big trailer.



Looking forward to the third book. Kudos to Bioware for letting the real writers of their games write the novels, instead of commissioning some random tie-in writer,

I also believe that Legion is the 10th squad member, there is quite a bit of evidence in support of it if you know where to look.



Also if DLC adds a 12th squad member I would think Kal'Reegar--the quarian voiced by Adam Baldwin--unless Tali's exile story prevents this.



Oh wait, what am I thinking. Blasto the Hanar always comes first.

You know, I hadn't thought of that. I suppose it's not impossible. It would certainly explain how he comes into story, which we know next to nothing  about.

I think Kal'reegar would be fun. Supposedly the leaked thing is a mercenary. Kind of meh about that, I'd have preferred Baldwin's character, but hey.

I doubt that Legion will be the tenth squad member confirmed on the character page since that would be a spoiler for all those people who do not hang around the forum and since they've shown him in the enemies trailer already. I think it's more likely that the bounty hunter dude or whatever he is will be revealed there to promote the dlc.

It would be so funny to me, if Jacob wasn't recruitable after all this time. If instead we were introduced to a different Cerberus Operative. It has probably been confirmed by several game reviewers by now though.

That referred to the way they behave, not numbers.

there was also jenkins gameplay footage in mass effect 1 and he was killed immediately. right now i only trust the mass effect main page and that has 6 confirmed members (jacob isn't one) and 4 classified members who are yet to be named.

Is it wrong of me to wish that Anderson serves as a squad member. Who else would like to see the retired former specter candidate show the world what he showed Mr Diplomat in his office.



I wonder if the character from the books will be a playable character in Mass Effect 2 or 3... that would be fairly awesome.

It's inferred from the two achievements previously mentioned.



All thought of "why would they spoil the people" is irrelevant to whether Legion is a party member or not.

Yes, I do not doubt he will be a squad member, only that he will be revealed as one on the character page.
