It will be 12, Legion is going to be a twist, in interviews devs all was say how legion, wants to be, or idolizes shepard.

You've got to take into account the very precise wording the devs have used so far. They've said "Potential 10 squadmates." Maybe the reason Jacob hasn't been officially unveiled yet is because you have the option of recruiting him OR some as of yet unheard of character.



People have brought up the Tali and Legion might not be so fond of cooperating issue before, so maybe that's another example of potential squadmates you'll have to choose from in-game.



After all they wouldn't want to spoil all the secrets of the game before it's released.

No, there are 10. The DLC squad mate is an 11th. And Jacob is your first squad mate. He is not recruited. Both he and Miranda are with you from the beginning of the game.

I was joking about Jacob not being a party member. But you have a point Zynnix.

Casey Hudson has said in interviews the Jacob is their "leading man" character, and that's why they are keeping fairly quiet about him. Your point is well taken, but Jacob is definitely part of you squad from the very beginning, and stays with you.

Nope, there are others. He was by far my favorite character in ME1. Hence, my user name.

If Wrex is not dead, you will see him in ME2. He can't join your squad though, he's busy. Doing important stuff.

He will definitely play a role in ME3. One of the reasons Ash, Kaidan, Wrex, and Liara can't join your squad is that they are being saved for ME3. Well, the other three are at least. Based on what's been said, maybe not Wrex. Hmmmm.

Maybe DLC character is 10th squadmemeber not Legion. So we have Jacob, Garrus, Mordin and The Merc with Strange Name.
