I have been revived into sync-kills so much lately that it's actually kind of funny.

I should probably start wearing my mic in Gold PUGs again. Then, I could at least try to tell them that, while I appreciate them trying to immediately revive their carrier, it would be best to either missile the sync-killer on my corpse or lead the sync-killer away so I can medigel. Especially since 9 times out of 10, when they revive me into a sync-kill, the match falls apart and we Fission Mail.

that's where I am at. Most of the time I have gels I don't need to be revived most of the time because I rarely run out of gels on a gold match. Usually I still have 4 or 5 left over at the end of the match unless I get caught in a bad place at some point like today I got caught between 3 dragoons and 2 phantoms and run through 3 gels before I could successfully pull out my rocket to get out of that situation.

This game is full of people like this.

I don't get why. I mean its good to revive your team mates but do it intelligently. Don't rez them knowing they are going to get killed again as soon as they get up and then you get killed too. Look around before you revive the dead guy to see why he is dead in the first place.

dat feel when your disemboweled after using medi-gel.

I don't mind using medi gels I have a ton of them. The only thing I really run through is Ops packs. I usually use all of or most of mine in every game. I am fine with that. I have hundreds of rockets i don't mind blowing through those either.

To OP: my last game was exactly like that. I got sync-killed by a phantom and the rest of the party promptly fell apart on wave 9 on Gold. Granted I was carrying the team, as usual, but if they had just waited 5 seconds I could have gotten myself up and taken care of the problem. This kind of stuff is happening more and more -- it's frustrating and causing me to play less frequently.

Welcome to pugs and why so many of us are moving on. I got spoiled by friends beating gold/plat with ease now I just get annoyed and quit after 2-3 games since 9/10 pug games stink.

I am glad to see that I am not alone here. That said what games have you guys moved on to? I bought Defiance and its a good game but soooo repetitive that I haven't touched it in 2 weeks after buying it at launch. I might start a Skyrim playthrough since it came with my Xbox and I have never played it.

I passed on Defiance It looked like an unpolished BL2 and had lots of technical issues its first week. Played Tomb Raider Bioshock Innfinite Skyrim, and Halo 4. Now working on my final single player run for ME3. Right now trying Star Trek but its not very good.

I forgot about Tomb Raider I might try that. I used to enjoy the earlier ones outside of the glitches that made it difficult to play at times.

Rent it if you can The single players good but short 12-15 hours and the multiplayer is terrible.

Here's one point for tact cloak medics
i) Cloak has a limited duration so if you need to go along distance to revive someone, chances are it will expire.
ii) Bleeder has a limited time before they bleed out (too many don't know what is medigel)
iii) When reviving, the bleeder gets up before your cloak disappears. This means they are most likely to get targeted first

So revive the guy to stop his bleed out clock, get stuff to target him and use the window of opportunity before he expires again after being shot to pieces to kill the turret/enemy. Then revive him again. You also get 2 revive medals for 1 case. Bonus if the guy spams his dodge immediately on revive to get into cover.

OP, you may not be new to the game, but you're kinda new to the forums.  One of the most common thread topics is people's frustration with pugs.  You are no more unlucky with pugs than the rest of us

Been a member since 2010 though this account is newer because I had some issues with my ME 3 CE content. I just rarely come around. Unless it was to ask a question about the game vent about pugs or find out about new DLC I really had no reason to come around

I've been spoiled. I've always played PuG, so this is all normal and part of the fun. I don't get frustrated by the antics. I just laugh and start the next game... after taking my medication.

I don't find the teams any better of worse. Although I personally have improved to a point where I can help make a difference to a team. And that feels kinda good.

It used to be that when I was in a PuG I would do alright. Probably not come in first or last. Play solidly but not spectacularly. Since then, I've gotten better and my teammates have, on average, gotten worse. I find myself carrying more often. Now it's a pleasant surprise to come in at 2-3 on the board. Means I had some competent teammates.

Or I showed up halfway through the match.
