Why didn't the chantry fill the Templar order with Dwarves?

Ah, no biggie. :) There can be so much snark in BSN at times it's hard to figure out who's being dismissive/rude and who's just having a harmless laugh. I didn't take it personally in any case. :)

I do think dwarves would make for awesome templars if the religion was readily accepted and the skills able to be transferred, though. That magic resistance is nothing to sneeze at. I wonder if the Chantry has ever tried, or thought about trying? There's plenty of surface dwarves, so I can't imagine it never being brought up at some point.

I also tend to wonder how long a 'free mage' society could endure in Orzammar. Sooner or later someone would go abomination or summon a demon, and even though dwarves have a passing resistance to magic even full-fledged templars can have serious trouble taking down a Fade creature. I suspect that (non-surface) dwarves are cavalier about mages purely because they have not had to live with them.

Oh, and Bhryaen, that should be "dwarfiness". :D
