A friend of mine and I are setting out to play some Baldur's Gate multiplayer. We have successfully installed some basic mods and have run the game. Unfortunately, we inadvertently installed an option in one of those mods to change some portraits around. I think the mod in question is the BG1 NPC Project, and the portrait in question is one of Yoshimo that in our estimation looks a lot worse than it does originally. What do we need to do to restore the old image without compromising our installations, which have been carefully set up to be identical to one another?

Thanks for your time.

For just changing Yoshimo's portrait, it's probably easiest to use the creature browser within Shadowkeeper. Note there are several versions of Yoshimo that you will need to change and you should do the same changes on both installations.

Just remove the image from your override folder and the game will use the default one instead.

As Grond0 already said make sure to do it on both (all) systems.

Thanks guys. So removing the image from the override folder is sufficient? We don't have to replace it with the correct image instead?

Remove the image from your override folder and the game will revert to the default... as noted above.

If however you want a different image i.e. not the default, then you can use shadowkeeper to extract the old one to your override folder and add a different image of the (exact) same name... as long as this new image is the correct size and type i.e. bitmap then that will work.

We just got the second game and uninstalling the image from the override folder did not successfully change Yoshimo's portrait. Where can I obtain accurate copies of the originals to overwrite those files?
