They don't sell out. They don't dumb down their games for the masses. They push the limits of narratives and mature content in RPG's. They are what only a few devs could aspire to become. Here's even more proof they they're in touch with gamers. Cdprojekt Red- how game devs should be. Take note other devs. These guys are getting ready to take over.

Don't forget that they also have the backing of one of the largest publishers in Europe and GOG. That certainly helps. They are basically the Polish Valve.

I'm looking forward to this New Game. I hope the game be fun and interesting also have Third Person View Shooter/RPG.

I thought it was for Cyberpunk 2077 I'm not interested in The Witcher really.

I don't buy it, at all.

What they're saying is good, but it's just words, nothing more. Like any politician, they will say anything and promise anything to get your sale, or vote, or sign of support, before completely going back on their word.

I'll wait till they come out with Cyberpunk and see how long they keep singing their tune.

Usually i would agree, but i can trust CDPR.
Because they don't lie and keep their fanbase in the dark like Bioware and many other companies do and not to mention how much they support us with free DLCs, i'm more happy they confirmed about TW3 not having multiplayer.

Now that's some good PR news right there.

Nice to know I wont get treated like a thief for a product I supported and paid for.

I'm keeping an eye on Cyberpunk 2077 and hopefully they'll win me over with that game. I have not been impressed with The Witcher so far. But their DLC and DRM policies are impressive.

I love them, but I don't expect them to be like this in a decade. If they even last that long.

This has always been there stance so I find it odd that they are presenting it like it's a new thing in this video.

They have always been against DRM even offering patches to remove it from some retail releases they did with other publishers.

They are my favourite devolopers, I buy their games gladly. Not to mention The Witcher 2 EE is one of my favourite games of all time.

There are two things I belive when it comes to gaming.

1. There is no such thing as a trustable corporation. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was making people he didn't exist. And the greatest trick gaming companies have ever pulled was making people think they are actually "For the customer" in any real substantial way.

2. No for profit orginization deserves actual trust, merely skeptical acceptance, no matter how much they might act friendly. When everythings said and done, they are still an entity and not a real person. Though that's just me, and my general mistrust of orginizations whose sole goal in life is to fuel their economic ascension.

I haven't been able to play either of The Witcher games so thats a matter of opinion, as for the free dlc from what I understand the free dlc for TW2 didn't exactly amount to much.

Atleast they don't treat their customers like thieves, that's something in the gaming industry.

Its MEGA appreciated because they released all their DLCs for free on PC, and instead of going along with Microsoft and trying to milk every dollar out of the fans as they could, they decided to ship all the patches(by that point) and DLCs along with the main game for its console release.

That way, instead of "$60 here, now $10 for this, $5 for that, etc etc", we just paid once and got everything.

I WISH more companies were like that.

You make some good points, but I like corporations that at least have the decency to kiss me before they **** me.
THat's just my opinion. :wizard:

A very good point Ravensword. I suppose that there is at least the common courtesy factor to consider.

All I'm saying is all of the praise you guys are giving CDPR is praise that you were giving BW in 07. Things change fast. CDPR knows exactly the right things to say to get fans to rally behind them.
