Started at: ME 3 and the went back to ME1 as soon as I found myself enjoying the game.
Ending picked : Destroy
Liked trilogy ending? : Yes but disappointed that there wasn't any way to give the poor bugger a chance at a happy life.
What i Enjoyed : ME1 - The story and getting to know the universe/my Shepard. ME2 - The character growth and side quests. ME3 - Citadel DLC, the small details that really made you feel like there was a war going on.

Fav character: As a squad member - Garrus. For sheer ****s n' giggles - Wrex and Grunt.

Started at: ME 1, picked up cheap with ME2 a month before ME3s release. Played all three within a month. It was a glorious experience for the most part.

What i Enjoyed : character transfer/import between games. Most of the cast. Setting and locations. Customisation. ME1 exploration.
Fav character:  Originally Tali, but tastes changed  and now its Jack.

Ending picked : Synthesis
Liked trilogy ending? : Pre-EC  - confused more than disliked, after EC i accepted it but it was lackluster.
What i Enjoyed : Import between games, characters were amazing (many tears were shed when some of them died), character interactions/banter, music, combat system (especailly in ME3), voice acting, and the ability to make decisions that changed the story line. Hoping they keep these traits as they work on the next Mass Effect.
Fav characters:  Garrus (my honey), Chakwas, Wrex, Grunt (my krogan baby), Mordin, Tali

Hated OE, but can tolerate EC DLC

I really enjoyed most aspects of the ME series. There were some exceptions, but I won't delve into them here.

My favorite character was Garrus

I started on ME1 probably about a month after release on the Xbox 360. A friend showed me some gameplay (because he could afford games on release and i couldn't at the time) and I was hooked. Since then I've played ME2 on the Xbox, then PS3, and have now settled into PC gaming, so are started a trilogy run on there. Between platforms I've probably clocked at east a thousand hours altogether.

I initially picked Destroy. I didn't hate the endings, but they didn't wow me like ME1 did. I've since chosen to try MEHEM, because, why the hell not? I like the trailers for it, and it leave the Reapers as more of a mystery. Sounds like a good option to me.

Started at: Mass Effect on Xbox. We totally got it early in Australia. Like a week early.

Liked trilogy ending? : Nope and I still don't
What I liked : It was all spacey. I like space and in general planets and what not. It lost that feeling in the next two games. The class system too was great. I liked playing my adept. Plus talking to people and finding out stuff. It lost that completely in the last game.
Favourite character: Kaidan

Liked ending: Yep.
Enjoyed: Essentially the universe itself as a whole. Tons of potential for expansion.

Started: ME2 back in 2011 (was a DA junkie prior), made it a quarter of the way through, stopped and ordered ME1. Xbox first, then reordered on PC.

Ending Picked first: none. never finished the last game. Will this summer once a certain Character/Ending MOD is complete.

Liked ending: no real need to comment, but I will say I have seen the ending via YT. My reaction? Bleh.

Enjoyed: So much in ME and ME2. Loved the characters, the dialogue wheel, exploration in ME1 (yeah, I liked the Mako), the RM's and LM's of ME2. Loved Noveria, final Citadel run in ME1, and as I stated before, most of the RM's and LM's, plus the SM in ME2.

Favorite character: Thane, Ashley, Mordin, Wrex, Jack.......all of them.

Ending picked: Destroy, though I like the concept of Synthesis (and would like it more in a different setting).
Liked trilogy ending?: Without EC - No. With EC - Yes.
What I Enjoyed: First learning about the universe in ME1, the Garrus romance (including the friendship in ME1) over the course of the series, the Thorian, the combat in ME3, the crew moving around the Normandy and the Citadel throughout ME3, learning more about the Protheans via Javik, and the Leviathan and Citadel DLCs.
Favorite character: Garrus Vakarian

Started: ME1 th day it was released on XBOX 360. Switched to PC version a year later(when I learned how to build a rig). All games now on PC.
Ending:Originally Control, which didn't sit well with me. Now it's MEHEM then Citadel.
Liked the ending?: NOOOOOOOOO! It made me so upset that I couldn't play any of the series again. Ruined the trilogy for me. Thank goodness the mod came along. Now I can play it over and over and over......
Favorite Character: My Manshep loved them all...especially Liara, Garrus, Kaiden, Tali, Wrex, and Grunt.

Ending Liked: Ridiculous, Are you serious? What else can I say, and the EC just makes it worse.
What I enjoyed: The first 99.5% of the trilogy

Started at: I got digital version of ME2 for free from EA/Bioware for some
reason I can't recall after DA2 came out. Had no real intention of playing it, but free Bioware game? Sure I'll tae that. Didn't play either for a while
as I was still trying to get time to finish Origins. DA2 left a bad
taste in my mouth so I wanted something different, saw ME1 on special in
a store and gave it a try. Glad I did.
Ending picked : Paragon
Sheploo chose Control. Oh the irony. Only time I played the ending
without EC. Ever since, it's been Destroy.
Liked trilogy ending? : Initially I was [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/andy.png[/smilie], then [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png[/smilie]. But that the ending was unpopular with many was old news by the tie I got t it. I've made my peace with the EC version.


What I Enjoyed : In ME1: Exploration - go to a world and drive around on it because you can. The conversations in the elevators. Choosing what armour your squad mates had & modding it. Best of all, women in appropriate armour. It felt somewhat more authentic because practicality was more important than style. Ok, boob plate is silly, but it beats the hell out of cat suits & heels. Oh, hello ME2 & 3... *sigh* .

ME2: Mordin, Garrus, Tali, Legion & their associated missions. Lair of the shadow broker, upgrading the Normandy SR2.

ME3: The game play improved, the enemies got harder. All the squad banter and the way your crew moved about the Normandy.

Fav character: ME1: Ashley. People called her racist, but I never got that vibe. Merely pragmatic and honest. But then came ME2 and by half way through ME3 I wanted to shoot her. So... Garrus suddenly became interesting in ME2, along with Tali and Legion. But then came LotSB & ME3, and I'd have to say Liara who never really interested me in ME1 was suddenly no longer a wilting flower and is now my favourite.

Did I like the ending? No, it violates every rule of narrative consistency and lore friendliness. The Catalyst and Crucible are poorly planned out plot devices that are poor masks for a lack of planning in ME2. The EC makes it bearable and enough that I feel fine about planning the series again.

I enjoyed the atmosphere most of all, especially in ME2. Also the characters, the setting, and the interactions between Shepard and the galaxy.

Favorite characters, Miranda, Wrex, and Javik
