Why don't you just play through again? Took me a whole insane walkthrough to get from 56-60 though, so good luck (Y)

And doing a speed run as your last run isn't exactly a good idea. The more you do, the more bonuses you get at the start of ME2. If you fail to come close to Level 57 in your first playthrough then the speed playthrough should be the second. That still got me well into Level 59 so I now have to do a complete playthrough for one level.

With my Adept I aim to try and get to 57 in the first playthrough and then I should only need to do one more to get to 60.

I ended my first playthrought at level 50 and I hit lvl 60 during the siege of Citadel and the biggest problem is between lvl 59 and 6 - that requires 2mil of EXP (from 6 to 8, if I remember correctly). Make sure that you made every single side-quest there is, mine all minerals and first of all - always have a tech specialist with you if you ain´t one. Unlocking and hacking gives you a lot of exp, without them you can forget on lvl 60 on 2nd playthrought.

If you're over halfway to Level 57 from 56 then yes. If not then you'll probably miss out by 10,000 or so XP.

I can never get to 60 on a second playthrough with the same character either. The worst thing is that I always end up in 59 somehow. Well at least it means playing more Mass Effect. Now I'm only missing two playthroughs and I'm done with everything I wanted to finish.

If you are careful, kill everything outside the Mako, and do all that there is to do, you can easily go from 50 to 60 on a single playthrough. Especially if you have the DLC.

Does it matter the difficulty level you set it at for these runs?

I don't know how you did it.  I played on the 360 and did everything but the annoying fetching quests with the Mako (I did many not all) and I did not download pinnacle station and made it to 51 on first playthrough, second same deal, 59.

In fact, depending on your own speed, it may be even less. I can  do two back to back playthroughs on Insanity in about 42 hours. Now everone has their own paces, but it's definetely not impossible.

I believe difficulty level can have an impact, as you do tend to get more enemies. I play at Insanity all the time anyways. And again, I am talking about full completion, plus DLC. I usually do Pinnacle anyway, because it's an easy way to boost XP, but it's not really necessary. As I said, you do have to be careful to maximize your XP at all time throughout your run.

other than side quest, I wouldn't know. You should gain a good amount of XP on Ilos and into the final mission.

But if you've done all of the side quest, then IDK.

Thx, I pretty much only have PS left, and I can't stand it :( Well, I don't mind if Shep is going in on lvl 59

Yep. Either any remaining sidequests, or the DLC. Other then that, there is no way to get XP.

If you really want the level 60 boost on your import, just turn the difficulty down to casual. You can probably get through Pinnacle pretty quick that way. Might be able to make up the extra XP from that.

It's possible to make Level 60 in two playthroughs very easily so long as you have the xp boosting bonuses

Only if you kill everything out of the Mako.

Do everything you want to in your game, and go to finish it.  Before you fight Saren, save.  Beat the game once without cheats and then once with givexp leveling all the way to 60 first.  When adding xp try to make it a valid number; don't go over lvl 60 requirement imo.

Now you'll have 2 characters ready for ME2: one cheat free, one lvl 60 with cheats.

That's what I do, and I was level 50 for a long time before the game was over.  (I deleted my earlier careers and uninstalled ME previously)  I did do plenty of side missions.

From what I understand 1-60 in one run is actually impossible. I would just finish this game and do one more run on casual. Your so powerful at this point you can literally run through lvls. It doesn't take that long.

I would think getting to 60 on one playthrough would be mathematically impossible. But yes, you can probably motor through your second playthrough on casual difficulty if you are pressed for time.

I see a lot of you hadn't read my OP, so anyway, I made a save before I went to Ilos, then I made a save before I went inside of the council room (which is just before Saren) and when I made that save and backed it up I cheated. So I leveled myself to level 60 (I gave myself xp just over the limit I think) and beat the game. So in case cheats are invalid I can go back and beat it again so it's no problem.

the level 58 to level 60 gap is insane and you must do a 3rd playthrough for the last 2 levels. Maybe there is another way, but I just did another playthrough for it.
