Why is it that big bad guys who decide to just hop in a giant pimped out mech at the end seem to be a dying breed? The only games with a good final boss fight in the past year were Gears Of War Judgement and Borderlands 2.

Honestly the lack of boss fight would have been a side-comment if not for the pain of the 3-choice ending that followed.
Personally, I was relieved I didn't have to fight anymore after my first go at London. That final stretch with the banshees was a pain in the butt.

No, their boss fights generally suck. There have only been 2 or 3 good ones in the entire trilogy.
