It's their game. It's the free market and they stand to gain more from continuing their policies than pleasing just you.

I'd be more inclined to agree if it was a petition asking that you're not punished with disapproval for rejecting a gay character's (or any character's you don't want to romance) advances.

Tomorrow, I'm also going to a liberal church with my gay half-brother. He goes every Sunday.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no semi-organized effort in this regard. (Whether or not that is a good thing is a different matter entirely.) Even if there was, the request would likely fall upon deaf ears. Their stance on this issue is the source for the majority of Bioware's corporate Vitamin RI, which they value greatly for numerous reasons. If they caved on this issue, they'd go crazy on another to find a new fount of the precious, precious Vitamin RI.

That is a little far. I might not agree, but it wasn't hate speech. People should be free to express their opinions, no matter how much you might want shake them or yell at them.

the problem is that the relationship with companions are very easy in DA 2 and allow almost immediately begin to flirt

so what be the next part of people freedom?, allow drugs/alchogol/cigarette for childrens, allow relationship and marriage with kids, favorite animals, dolls..this is pointless if you cant bear you own healthy children for genetic diversity, and even machine can raise any childrens....but this is only one opinion

and freedom, also works in two directions. protecting one at the expense of another is not very good

People need the freedom for what they need and what brings them good

but forget about this:D, people just disappointed about poor made relation system with companions and romance where there was a focus on more same-sex romance than usual

True. There's nothing wrong with homosexuality. I don't see the problem with two people who love each other. And it's the one positive aspect of the Dragon Age games that most people don't contest.
