Well, i've never rage quit. I quit because of lag before, and sometimes i just really wasn't feeling a match. There are only so many times you can fight cerberus before you start to see them whenever you close your eyes.

Personally, i go in to every match fully invested in it, and i plan to extract.

You won't run out of consumables if you succeed in gold regularly.

*Sigh* Tend to run in to gold matches. I've extracted gold before, didn't like it. It was too tough, so i went back to silver, because i didn't want to hold anyone back.

I mostly played bronze, because i haven't had the game that long. What, did you expect me to start out on gold?

But I don't know that. To me, you're just a random name on a score board. First rule of PUGs, expect the worst.

Yeah, well i spent about a million USD on PSPs then i asked the CEO of EA to give me commendations packs before the weapons were UR. He didn't want to so i had to get Obama and the EU heads of state to pressure him. That's how i maxed my manifest. Of course this is the internet so you have to take it with a grain of salt

Haha, way too many, i'll tell you that at least. Even when i was subsidizing it with credits. My girlfriend paid for some too, so it would be really hard to give you a ballpark figure even.

It doesn't have to be exact. Leaving out the credits you earned, would you say it was:
a) $100-250
$250-500
c) $500-750
d) $750-1000
e) Other

Just responding to your original post. You're worried about becoming dependant on consumables and then running out, but all I'm saying is it won't happen once you start playing gold regularly.  But if you're only playing bronze and silver, no one cares if you're not using consumables and you don't need them.  On gold, they're not a crutch. They're a courtesy.

The only way you can actually run out of consumables to use is if you blow a ton of them on failed solos or you are using them on bronze all the time where you're not earning enough money to buy them back. If you hoard them, it's not like you get a refund check once the ME3 servers are shut down. They'll just be lost forever.

In short, there's nothing to worry about, like I'm sure others in this thread have said.

It's just the way i am, i can stand playing, and thinking i did something just because i had a boost, and then thinking that once i inevitably run out of boosts, i wont be able to have the boosts. I have a terrible fear of the dependancy. What do?

But the rule is... Bring Med kits and rockets.... If you don't have them.... go play silver.

I'll share, I used to feel the same way. I pugged Gold all the time with "OP" characters (GI, MQE, BS), and I never used equipment. I never used it because I felt I didn't need it, and I generally was at the top of the scoreboard. But after taking a break from ME3, I learned of a quote "It may be a waste to use it when it isn't necessary, but it's an even bigger waste to not use it at all". So now I try to use equipment (if nothing more than level 1 stabilization mod) because why not?

The best part is, i've started playing gold, and started using my consumables.
