Whenever I see a bunch of people gang up on one guy who hasn't really done anything but violated some kind of rule about what "the community" thinks should be done in this way or another, I will ALWAYS and UNCONDITIONALLY side with the underdog until someone proves to me that he actually did something that hurt anybody.

I'm still waiting for that here. All you guys have going for yourself is self-righteousness and that always worked out soooo well for humanity in the past...

Go back and read your own posts and tell us how they don't make you look like an idiot.

I'm sure you'll go far in life supporting "underdogs" who violate the rules.

P.S. edit: well I'm German, so I'm allowed to say that maybe WWII wouldn't have happend if more people over here had questioned the wisdom of the many ganging up on the few without asking for the reason behind it. /end pathos

Indeed. Why do you think rules exist? Does one cheater effect someone's enjoyment of the game? Maybe, maybe not. If no one was held to any kind of standard there would be nothing but cheaters, there would be little incentive to play the game as it was intended.

Nope, I wouldn't enjoy it. But I sure as hell wouldn't start a multi-thread public name-and-shame witchhunt over 1 experience. I would MAYBE call him out (one the basis of said 1 experience), if he acted all superior and db'y but I have not seen him do that yet.

And no one besides Qui-Gon has brought any grievances here. They are just joining the fun for an easy kick at a lone guy and that is just beyond unfair, imho. So yeah, maybe i won't get far in life, but I prefer my method of walking, tbh.

while i dont agree with witch hunts on here, that is a facetious statement. As boogie says, its not fair on other players. If he wants to cheat he should eitehr do it with friends, or do solos. 

I'm not sure if i believe OP to be a hacker or not, there's only one player on here saying he's played with him and had strongly suspicious outcome. All i can suggest is blocking him (I assume origin lets you do that?) and never play with him again. 

Assuming he spent a fortune and bought his entire manifest with real money - yep thats nuts, but there are plenty of people spending money on stupid things, not worth commenting on really. 

As for forwarding this to Bioware etc, well they are v slow with bans and prob even slower now, so i doubt they'd do much about him if he was cheating. But the forum moderators ARE still active so i'd be careful what you said on here.

To be completely honest, I didn´t care then, because only Qui-Glon did accuse him of cheating and one accusation is not enoughfor me to condemn him.

By now it looks like Qui-Glons accusation might have merit, so yes, I do think that he has a right to complain. I question the method though. I still find it strange, that nobody else had a similar experience to report, so I might even consider a one time baddy on OPs part.

I would have still defended him at this point,  because I see naming and shaming over multiple threads as way out of proportion for the offered slight (and against the rules as well btw). So I chose the hand cutting example with this in mind. Please note also that almost everybody besides Qui-Glon has just kicked OP for his manifest state and not for his playing.

While I think that we have been hugely entertaining to BSN as a whole, we are keeping alive a thread that should have died a long time ago. I will be happy respond to further arguments via P.M.

I will concede one last point publicly. Taking Ziegrif for a girl DID make me look like an idiot. So I count NuclearTech76 1 : me 0 on that particular accusation.

I thought it was cute, at first, but it's not turning out to be that way.

I'm losing interest. The closer I get to the answer, the less I care what it is.

That being said, after having a look at his manifest and his challenges... yeah. There's something wrong.
You could explain all the URs with spending too much money and that's already mindboggling... but scoring 60k points with the Javelin in 5 minutes is hard to believe.
His challenges look like he sucks at Gold and can barely survive Silver with a Juggernaut... that's not what you'd expect from a good player. I mean... 27 tech explosions total. Not a single BE. 329 games, 90 hours... and not a single Tech or Biotic challenge completed. But he has 1000 headshots. Weird.

So yes, all signs point to cheating. This still doesn't belong into the forum and should be handled by BioWare instead.

Because i don't use tech based classes. Are you trying to say you can't get by on bronze/silver without using tech explosions or biotics? Because that's what i've done. I only use weapons, it's just the way i am. Call me a scrub, say i can't play, but i have fun, so i dont care.

LOL, good catch. Both javelin challenges in machine mastery (200k) and sniper master (140k) completed with 5 minutes in between them. So 60k points in 5 minutes. And done on May 12

So either we have a god of sniping on our hands or basically his defenders are defending the fact he continues to be cheat as being ok.

I'm not sure how you see the times each challenge was exactly completed, but there are also lag times between when the challenges are completed, and when they update on the page. I switched to using the javelin recently, and i go back and fourth between that and the spitfire. So yes, when you use weapons, you'll start to complete challenges with them. I wasn't aware that was cheating. MB.

Lastly, to everything Qui Gon Glenn has said, he's been harassing me for a while, and i think he was just upset that he was outscored by me. Was it a fluke? Definitely, i'm not good at this game at all. I didn't cause him any grief, he chose to come to BSN and call me out and shame me, for something i didn't even do.
