Everyone keeps telling me good job... and I feel bad b/c it seems like Cain isn't getting enough credit. He's the one who did all the work... I just jotted some (incomplete) ideas down on a notecard, he's the one who did all the work. Just in case it hasn't been said... thanks Cain

2 big monster grouper on a deep dive by the Team Headhunter boys(200+ feet deep)  (pics at the end)

A more normal vid... well, kinda normal. Only in freezing cold water do grouper bunch up like this (and at night, this was during a cold water upwelling). This guy isn't using a spear, he's using a .357 mag powerhead.  The stuff with the knife is just hilarious IMO.

Yes, he has contacted me. The work shall continue. Prepare for the arrival. I actually did most of the gameplay footage and some editing on mine so it is like 50/50 but in your case you are helping him expand his channel so that is not a bad thing.

Nope... they fear me

See that thing the guy is using in the second video... I use one of those... and they OSK 10 ft sharks with a headshot. Only ever been scared by one shark... a 13ft Hammerhead (a very curious, and very stupid/ballsy fish), and I was only scared b/c I didn't have a powerhead. He came in really close, and I was going to unicorn him in the forehead with just a spear... then when he was about 5 feet away, he turned away and never came back.

I'm 6'6... with 3 ft long fins on and a 5ft speargun... when it's all said and done, I look like a 15ft creature underwater... there aren't many fish in the sea that would mess with something that size. They keep their distance... and if they don't... BOOM!

I did that to a Phantom in mid-flip earlier tonight actually... like she was in Stasis just as you described.

The first build can be played with more melee and less Poison Striking... but Poison Strike still works most of the time for me off host (if it's a good host to begin with). In fact I ran her off host a few hours ago when I was teaching TouchedByYou to play her, and I did just fine... b/c his host was fine.

You could say the same thing about the second build if you wanted to be a butthole... b/c of Turian Stability not working half the time off-host. I hate using the Hurricane without any stability gear/bonuses... too much effort to exert all match mashing the aim stick down everytime I want to shoot my gun while aiming down the sights. Makes the game no fun for me TBH...

Nice vids.

I promoted my Vanguards, again, so I might try the melee build as I was using the soldier build previously, with the Harrier and Hurricane, but I found on maps like Hydra I wasn't getting full use of her mobility from poison strike as the Harrier can headshot things across the map.

I might try it with a Talon or Wraith/ Raider for more in your face soldier build and use the mobility to get in and out, combined with Turian stability passives.

Just have to learn not to take on more than I can handle with the melee build!

I like the Cabal. I usually play off host. Well. Always off host. Only real issue I have is the delay to use PS, which can become problematic. Im not one for melee builds though. I use full damage blades, light up some spawns, fall back and finish them off. Warp ammo is good, but I prefer the incendiary ammo for detonations. A lot of fun playing with Adepts as her PS detonates BE's too.

Maybe its the way I play, but for the life of me I cant see what the biotic whatchamacallit does for me other than speed. (Theres a reason why I got a ton of adrenaline mods, I have no need for speed)

Just wanted to say that, from my experience, I honestly only ever hear men use this term. So, forgive me for taking this particular declaration with a grain of salt unless you have some sort of evidence you can link me to (you probably do) that states the origin of this term is Mean, Evil Women.

Moving on to the actual topic at hand...

Very nicely done video, Cain, as always. I do love the musical break with Disturbed at the end... a song I've always enjoyed, so it was fitting to see the Cabal get those honors.

Big thanks to Mega for the build suggestions. Your second build is close to what I run, but tweaked a little differently. Think I'll take that tweaking and try it out on Platinum today.

It's nice seeing the Cabal get some love. She's really a fun character, though very hard to get a handle on.

OT: good video as usual guys, the Cabal was my favourite of the Reckoning kits but I've not played her much in the past couple of weeks. Might see if I can get the melee build to work for me.

FWIW I've been running this build today, a minor modification to my usual build:

It seems to be working out pretty well. It's a bit of a blend between the two styles you've listed, mixing melee damage to finish off enemies into the BF spamming super mobile weapons platform build, using Melee Synergy to compensate for the missing High Caliber Barrel.

It's highly amusing to use a Prime's turrets and drones as targets to keep my Martial Artist and Melee Synergy buffs up. I can't seem laugh off Pyros anymore though. Ah well.
