BSN: DA3 will be a sandbox game.
Logic.

Which concerns me, because I really don't think like exploration as it is generally defined in RPGs.

No Dwemer ruin has the same map and layout as another Dwemer ruin. Appearance may be similar, but each dungeon is still unique and not shamelessly recycled.
Again, I can imagine that you still grow bored of the the dungeons, but I don't think it's fair to put it on the same level as DA2's repetitiveness.
They recycle the same textures a lot, but that's leaps and bounds above what DA2 did.

I find nothing more engaging than robbing graves and looking through peoples trash, so I am equally confuse dabout the comment. I never feel as heroic or immersed as when I'm stealing boots of corpses to sell for cash.

Are you wutting at my failed editing, or at my dislike of the searching through rubbish and aimless wandering that people refer to as exploration?

Those few cosmetic changes go a long way in terms of role-playing. If I could go through DA2 as a dwarf champion of Kirkwall, I would enjoy the game much more, copy-and-paste enviorments and all!

Then people would complain from the neck down every character is the same. I remember those complaints about Dragon Age Origins for it ruined roleplaying for the races weren't different enough.

still, those where minor complaint. a way for people to say: mede the race better!!! but it seems way much more easy take away feature, instead of make them better...like the Mako in ME...

I think they could learn a lot from Skyrim, but no way are they going to copy it.

And how do you make them better? Bioware had a difficult enough time trying to make being a mage seem relevant - how would they handle a setting where there's active racism against certain groups and social mobility is very limited in a largely human society for non-humans?
I'm not being snarky. I'm honestly curious.

maybe actually working on it? delayng tha game one year later?
still, it's logic that if in DA2 there wasn't a realistic relevance of the mages, (I hated it myself) there should't be neither for Elf or Dwarf.
DA2 was the example of a rushed game. and most of the lines that could be used against a mage, in the racist setting, can be used for the Elf too. Dwarf can have those lines only with Others dwarfs.
the problem is: in DAO we have maybe few difference from mage/non mage, Elf/dwarf/human, but are there. in DA2, all have been taken away. but they CAN do it. I don't think it was such a difficult task put a few sentences more for a mage/elf/dwarf in the dialogues. at least technically speaking. if we speak of time...I still don't undertand why DA2 have been put out so soon, when it was evidently rushed.

Delaying a game for a year without a really good reason isn't something most companies do, heck Assassin's Creed games seems to be released annually and no matter what BioWare does there is going to be a faction that is going to be upset, "You delayed the game for a year and its only 30 hours long, BioWare is ripping us off. You should have made the game longer then adding more races for I won't play them." could be an arguement that is around these boards.
To add another race into the game and to have reactions in the environment for you would need to design the race, make the wireframe, animate and design all the armor to work on the new model. Then you would need to integrate the character into the story to make sure that it makes sense why people have the reactions they do and make sure it won't roadblock the character either. Look at the female Shepard, that is the one thing that always bothers me (and most female characters) in Mass Effect 2 and 3 is their animations are the same as their male versions, but it feels they are just using a scaled down wireframe.
Personally, I am really interested in the Origins they have mentioned for if they give the alternative to races, but we are all humans I think it would be a good compromise, but I doubt it will be as impactful as people are going to expect.
