Why the Acolyte? Why does EVERYONE use the Acolyte?


Because it's lightweight and strips Shields/Barriers very effectively?


We did our Thunderdome without an Acolyte.

@Stardusk: You've sent me a friend request on Origin. Is it because of the Thunderdome challenge? I'm probably going to do the challenge with HolyAvenger, since he asked me first. Anyway I've tried to accept but it says that your FL is already full.

Phantoms on Wave 9 are the obvious answer, especially on-host. There's no reason to make it harder than necessary if there's no rule that forbids using it. It can be frustating enough as it is, as you've clearly experienced after watching your video.

But I would also pride myself in not using the Acolyte if my team had Stasis and used Warp-Incendiary-cheese.
Wait...no I wouldn't.

It's a good video and run btw, big fan of your character and weapon choices - and the Prime was **** hilarious :D
Now you've also experienced the joy the Thunderdome can bring alongside with the rage, frustration and teamwork it promotes:wizard:

Thanks! This one was actually quite easy, note the 3 waves survived, it would've been 5 if i hadn't screwed up on wave 2 <_<. Incinerate is a great detonator for Disruptor, made the Primes a joke.

During our first attempt at a sniper run I had some weird glitch where Kalas was upside down and facing different directions. On wave 6 devices I got synched because I was laughing too damn hard because he was running around on his head shooting out of hit feet/ass lol. Even while spectating I was upside down.
