I like Anders [and Justice] but he's [they've?] already been a companion for two games. That's enough imo. That isn't to say I don't want him to crop up in DAIII however.
Bioware never put a limit on how much companions you can recruit (you can recruit them all). Its a good thing but it can also provide freedom for players if there was a limit. Like when you recruit someone, another companion won't join your party. This gives players more freedom to chose from what companions they want without having over ten companions.
As an example lets say Anders is a potential companion in DA3 and if you recruit him then cullen won't join you or vice versa.
i think that is a great way to tick off a lot of fans. I like Anders and I want Cullen my party. Why make me chose? Especially when you put in the resources for all the companions anyway. Why limit the number? Why do you not like having a bunch of squad mates?

Actually my brain can't compute all these fantasy calender...such as this one, Skyrim, Star Wars, ect...as for example in KotOR, the Rakatan empire existed before 10 revolution that take 20 000 years...what years? Light years? Earth years? Mars years? lol

Anders became almost insufferable in DAII.
As I said the problem is the fact that if hawke is not a mage and difficulty is not casual Anders usualy have to be in the party as main healer. Therefore those who don't like Anders have to tolerate him, this was kinda a bad call. Most other companions can be completely ignored, but not Anders. Because Merrill can't heal at all and there are only 2 mages.

Don't get me wrong I like having a lot of members but surely there is a limit. We can't have 30 companions lol. And people demanding a lot of characters to be added as potential companions therefore if we are to have a lot of new characters along with old ones there should probably be a limit. Maybe not a limit like choosing between 2 but you have to choose 10 members out of 30 for example.

Lol people and their eagerness to kill their companions... I don't know how accurate statics are but they show over 70% of players killed Kaidan in Mass Effect 3

Or some templar who just defends him/herself from murderous blood mages. Well... then it wouldn't be demon of Vengeance anymore, rather demon of Schizophrenia. <_<Rassler wrote...
I'm hoping Bioware will surprise us. I mean wouldn't it be awesome if we could get justice to posses our new mage hero in Dragon Age 3 and reign terror on templars?

9 is the century they are in and 42 is the year in the century
like 20th century and the year 1960
so it is the 9th century for them and the year is 942.

2) Anders was a whiner to the nth degree in DA 2 -- completely insufferable. (though, sadly, very funny in DA:A, they very much ruined his character).
3) Killing him was pretty clearly a possible cannon choice. (As opposed to Leliana where you had to defile the ashes, many players not even getting this scene).
So no thanks. I'm done with his whining and that whole nonsense. Also I dont feel hating his character was somehow effective writing on BW's part either. He was completely one dimensional. I can't even process that people want him back.*
(*Sorry if that's you, but telling it like I see it).
He's dead. I hope he stays that way. And I hope BW can do better than to resort to cheap terrorism plot twists.
I'd rather put up with Cullen, and he's a snorefest.

Given merrill's character especially when you romance her its very unlikely of her to be so intent on something so I listened and spared Anders, later before final battle I spoke with Anders and he was no longer annoying at all and all he wanted was to redeem himself. After that on my second play I romanced Anders and got to know him, he just needs help, a help that never came from people who didn't like him from the beginning hence never really knew him.
