I agree wholeheartedly, if he was dying emotional then that would be no problem for Therapist!FemShep to solve. It would require some intimate healing. *cough*



I just have to keep reminding myself to not take everything so literally when watching videos, since not all of it is shown.

-His aesthetic is essentially pleasing to the eye.

-Absolutely lethal in combat and kick ass, master at hand to hand combat.

-Personality seems to indicate a conflicted, but interesting past.

-New species that looks like a hybrid combination of various reptiles.

-He is very expressive, especially with his hands. (Neck-snaps ftw.)

-Also, Thane has a butt.



And a million other reasons, that vary between the fans.

I think it's the same reason guys love Tali. She's exotic and mysterious.
While Thane's face is in full view, he does have large black eyes. Also, I do think his jacket is surprising important in the physical attraction. lol, I know its shallow, but I guess us girls love a well-dressed man, and being a baaad boy sure helps.

Most of it is attraction to personality, in my opinion, that then creates an appreciation for his beauty. ("Do I love you because you are beautiful, or are you beautiful because I love you?") Seeing a guy kick ass in battle, without the aid of a gun no less, must trigger some sort of primal "MAN IZ GOOD PROVIDER" instinct in us and causes us to pounce. =P

Definitely.

I find men (or women) who are mysterious, unpredictable, subtle, and lethal very attractive (definitely sexy).  It is not the appearance that makes me tick, but, it is the way a person carries himself/herself.  Thane has this bearing that just draws your attention to him.  

I just hope that the rumors are untrue about his personality being changed from what I initially saw in the E3 trailer.  And definitely, I do hope that Thane will not literally die.   That is just sad -- romancing someone just for him to die in the game.  

Why can't I have a happy ending?

sigh...first all the mess with very few paths having happy endings for romance in dragon age... makes me think this is gonna go that tragic route as well. Oh well- regardless of what happens, Thane looks like an interesting, deep character.



So there's supposed to be consequences of 'cheating' on ME1 loves... well what if you want to stay with your ME2 romance instead? Thane >> Kaiden anyday

Dissapointing, to say the least. if it is true. To think theyve steered away from that damn trend(s) thats been done to death already was apparently too mutch to hope for.

They can´t make a great character like that with us female fans in mind and then whack him off for..a darker feel or whatever. right? D:

Oh, I love that we have new information on the Drell. They're basically humanoid, omnivore cobras, which is freakin' sweet.  Also, I knew the neck hoods would be inflatable. That's so awesome. I'd like to see Thane put that ability to use in some sort of agressive/possessive display for FemShep.

EDIT: Oh, and now I love the Hanar even more than I did previously.
