I think that's just the blue light reflecting off his skin. Unless we're looking at different green stuff...?

Btw, it occurred to me that Thane doesn't wear any armour? Or that his jacket?

His legs are insane. Same shape as my brother's who's a body builder..  he must work out all his spare time!

If you mean I won't have enough fuel or something to get him first, I know. I've been torturing myself by watching the guy who got ME2 early on justin.tv. :'(

It's more than just fuel, Shepard has to find some way in getting information about Thane. One may have to get a couple of squadmates first, do upgrades on the Normandy, or some quests.

I thought TIM gave you dossiers (or last known whereabouts) on all your potential squad mates, with the exception of maybe Legion.

ok, that was hilarious. LOL at 'that was...quite the entrance' after the deed was done. I didn't want to know spoilers before I got the game, but now that I read above that you won't be able to recruit Thane right away, I'm bummed :/ There must be a way... I always hated in the first one how long you had to wait until you got Liara.

I spoiled myself silly, but I will say that I am still going to jump Thane's bones, despite the fact that he's far from unique when it comes to his background/storyline. Oh, Bioware...

Recycled or not, I don't think his background is
all that bad. Drell live for about 80 years and he's nearing 40, he's half way
there as it were. To be honest, I'd be vastly disappointed if he didn't have
someone in his life before Shepard showed up. I don't need another Bishop,

That being said, I kind of want to push Thane out of an airlock.  Yes, he's still schmexy and badass, and yes, I still love him, but god those character background tropes just make me want to howl.  It's not really Thane's fault that so many BioWare characters fall prey to these tropes, but I just can't help wanting to strangle him for it.

As the one feverishly spoiling myself via YouTube, it's...ok, taking a second to put my fierce hatred of the Carth Trope of DOOOOM aside...

I think BioWare's sniper-shotting the heartstrings with the alien LIs.  The romances are all so incredibly bittersweet, and Thane's is no different.  It feels older and more experienced than Garrus or Tali's.  Again, Carth Trope of Doom aside, Thane really does have some wonderful moments.  You get to see a much more vulnerable side of him, and that's very interesting.

Hopefully I've been vague enough that there will be no mod wrath...
