Some sort of confrontation with Harbinger. Not a fight or anything. Just some sort of conversation, showdown, something. He goes from being the voice of the Reapers in ME2 to a footnote in ME3 and it's really jarring when you play them back to back.
I agree entirely!
After all the build-up between Harbinger and Shepard in ME2 and Arrival, and the apparent "vested interest" Harbinger had in Shepard, I would have at least liked to see Harbinger dog Shepard's footsteps a couple of times during some of the missions.
Maybe not a direct confrontation, but a couple of close encounters, with Harbinger's forces attempting to hunt down and capture Shepard, and a couple of desperate escapes.
I could have happily seen Harbinger involved on Earth during the Vancouver evacuation, on Palaven, maybe even on Thessia...

Good storyline (HEY! its weapon out of nowhere able to defeat reapers! HEY! Cerberus gone nuts! HEY New evil Space ninja(with ***king sword) HEY spacebrat from my dreams - artictic no doubt)!
Final choices from previous game that actually matter (Council/collector base) also other choices like rachni.
Harbinger boss battle
Special forms of reapers (like in me2 epilogue)
Suicide Mission with ME1-2 squadmates and war assets(one of my greatest disappointments about me3)

But yeah, the ME2 Suicide Mission was everything Priority: Earth SHOULD have been, but was not. Decisions, upgrades, recruitments and loyalty all affected the outcome and survivors in ME2... I was expecting/hoping for Suicide Mission version 2.0, but with war assets, allied races etc as the variables...

Redeeming Morinth.
Batarian squad mate.
A real pilogue.
Becoming TIM.(TIM dies and Shepard takes over cerbarus)

2. Choices that do matter
3. Human council if you choose to create one (AKA choices that do matter)
4. Suicide mission 2.0 with war assets etc and reapercussions for not having enough war assets on earth
5. Liara being useful as the shadow broker. (Me3's narrative wouldn't change at all is she wasn't)
6. Cerberus that actually makes sense and TIM not being a Saren clone
7. More screentime for ME2 squad
8. Neutral dialogue options (For god's sake damn it!)
9. Auto-dialogue used in a way ME2 did (It was great why the change?)
10. HD textures

- At least 1 of the ME2 squadmates to return to the ME3 squad.
- For the ME2 characters to have an overall larger impact.
- For there not to be the "Reaper off-switch" that Casey said wouldn't be there.
- For the Reapers to not be relegated to Toy Story rejects.
- For Liara's being the Shadow Broker to actually mean something.
- For the Catalyst not relying on idiotic circle logic.

ME2 characters as squadmates
an ending scene with Kalross being made an honorary Admiral. The only one that had enough common sense to attack a reaper from behind
the Normandy firing the Thannix cannon(if you got the upgrade in ME2)
question the leviathan turd. One question I like to ask is prove the choices that are mentioned do what it says they do?
Tell the committee at the beginning to f**k off. How the he** is femshep suppose to know what the situation is when she is locked up for the last 6 months. Makes you wonder how they got their job in the first place.
have peace between the geth and Quarians without having Tali or Legion alive.

And a fitting conclusion to Cerberus, not "lolzindoctrinated"

Seeing a Leviathan-controlled Reaper attacking another.
Seeing the Geth and Rachni warships attacking the Reapers (Quarians too).
Seeing what a Salarian warship looks like (always been curious).

Thessia having more follow-up, preferably with the plot about Prothean interference removed (unnecessary clutter).
A chance to mock everyone who wanted to kill Liara.
Some form of positive buildup to both Control and Synthesis, if we're going to keep those.
The ending choices being explained by something that isn't the Catalyst.
Possibly some kind of Harbingerish boss battle when it wants to stop you from taking any ending choice.
A chance to fight Cerberus because of their human supremacism, not just because they're indoctrinated/want to control the Reapers.

Storybased multiplayer mode. When I first heard about ME3 having mp I thought that it would probably had a combat mode, just for the sake of it (well I was right on that account) and another with story, and conversations like in swtor. Maybe not a storyarch but mission with a little to it, real objectives not just go get that thing that spawned in. Save refugees, then work your way to them and your way back to the extraction, scorting the refugees, money based on how many you save. with conversations like briefing, meeting the refugees, and debriefing to put an example.

2. Staple Kai Leng's mouth shut. He is now a silent antagonist. During Citadel coup he brings Phantoms to distract Shepard while Thane saves the Councilor and not charge Kai Leng with his gun and eventually still dies.... for overexerting his lungs or whatever the drells breath with. On Thessia Kai Leng can be killed but he gave a Phantom the VI before the fight to take to TIM.
3. Diana Allers removed and insert Emily Wong to take her place.
4. Scrap Priority Earth and the final Battle takes place on the Citadel. Earth sucks I don't feel any attachment to it. Spacer for Life. Have Harbinger sending over Collectors that's from his ship body thingmajig. So it can continue it's well praised and beloved trolling... and the endings plays out similar to Fallout 1&2 New Vegas, and DA Origins, but with Cutscenes... Three games instead of one... so we warrant a cutscene galore.
5. If for the love of God if I have to really depend on the Crucible make it a second permanent hub of the game where Shepard can gather details on the Crucible true functions the people and races you saved can shed new light on it's functions so you can make a rational decision. Scrap the Catalyst.
6. Scrap the Leviathans... We don't have time for Big Stupid Cuttlefishes. Just nuke the place. Genocide for their stupidity.
7. Have Tuchunka, Rannoch, and Thessia have hubs during their chapters temporarily. More quests in Thessia. We hardly had enough time to look around.
8. Scrap the Reaper chasing minigame it's uninspired, boring, and extremely easy. At least it wasn't as long as the minerals minigame.
9. When you first encounter TIM on the citadel he was in the middle of playing Black Jack with some Indoctrinated Asari dancers. Why woo the ladies when you can control!?
10. Major Kirrahe is a Squad Member and Grunt too with Wrex approval.
11. Option to kill Jacob if you romance him during ME2.

Funnily enough, the two squadmates I remember wanting most of all to return as playable characters were Legion and Grunt. That obviously didn't happen, but I was so impressed by their roles as NPCs as well as their spiritual successors EDI & James that it didn't bother me at all. Everyone goes on about disappointing things, but there were a lot of present surprises as well.

Better ideas than you.. How about no.
Indeed, but if Cerberus attacks us, the stupidity is on them. However, this scenario would work best if the Alliance was knocked out of the fight and Cerberus was trying to seize power within humanity (again, I'd prefer to work directly for the Council).Fighting non-indoctrinated Cerberus would be stupid. You'd do the Reapers' work for them.

. You want to cut out the one good political scenario post war, something that can be explored in a sequel perhaps. You want to make us work for the most incompetent group of all time, the Council. You want to fight the only group who was actively working against the Reapers because they have some views that run counter to your xenophilia.Xilizhra wrote...

I want to bump up the Council's visible competence some (I believe they're already plenty competent, it's just not shown because don't see those scenarios). It's a terrible and contrived political scenario (the salarians uplifting the yahg is better), and I don't think any postwar game can possibly be good, so I'm hoping they don't appear. And Cerberus... I don't necessarily have to fight them, but it's just not that interesting to be fighting them because they want control; it's not the reason I'd been jumping to fight them since ME2.Steelcan wrote...
