No, but I rather have a character I recognise and know to show up and act as foreshadowing than someon completly random, especially if it makes sense to the character.

DAO - Annoying self righteous better than though "the maker talks with me" stalker ninja romancer  With a nice voice

DA2 - Badass Chantry protector 

I didn't like her as an LI but could tolerate her as a companion as long as she sang at camp  On Asunder she isn't that bad and I might even take her with my party every now and then

i like her and she is still my first LI option

but the problem is that considering that she is a LI option the idea to have her as companion when your warden isn´t the protaganist i dont hink that it would work, without the warden

I loved her in DAO...literally...and my Warden's future involved travelling the realms with her. But things started getting ruined with her in Awakening, and went to full on suck in DA2.

In short, I liked the character, but they ruined her for me by bringing her and the Warden back separately. This is exactly why I never want to see another cameo of a romancable companion again. It always ruins things for the exact audience that should be most excited to see them again.

I love her, for sure. Always picked her as my LI in DAO.

And in DA2 she seems quite good, I never got an anti-mage vibe from her. Heck, read Asunder, she definitely isn't.

Indeed, the very fact she's with Cassadra in DA2 pretty much confirms she's not a rabid anti-mager. And odds are she will play a role that confirms this in DAI.

Love me some Leliana. With that accent, how could you not? But beside that her story and character growth are the epitome of redemption, of sheding one's past life completely to begin a new existence.

Also her AoE bard songs can leave dangerous mobs open to absolute wreakage. Let's also not forget the Leliana's song cutscene, one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced in a video game. Leli is amazing.

They both have interesting personalities and beliefs, and it's fun to listen when they smack-talk at each other.

No, but I rather have a character I recognise and know to show up and act as foreshadowing than someon completly random, especially if it makes sense to the character.  

Its more because she can die in Origins. She doesn't have 10 inch thick plot armour, so for what she does in DA2 it could have easily being a new character,  Why did Bioware retconn her death?. It was also odd how i as the player know Leliana but the PC doesn't know her considering they are both from Lothering.Realistically they would have met each other.

Well, I have that feeling that she is a zombie, because I am pretty sure she is dead in my DAO save...yet she appears in DA2..
