IIRC, in Asunder she actually fights with mages against Templars.

I was never under the impression she was anti-mage before that, either.

I didn't particularly like her or Merrill they were a little ditsy for my taste but she was super sweet, the guys I know preferred to romance her over Morrigan so you aren't the only one. If you read Asunder you will realize that Leliana isn't antimage. Trust me.

Oh and decapitating her doesn't stop her from showing up in DA2, which is annoying as well.

I wish killed characters would stay dead and not magically come back to life. At least they kinda explained Flemeth

Correction: the awkward singing scene I always skip.

I think Gaider said he was planning to explain Leiliana, if it helps.

As for dead characters not magically coming back for life, for the most part you're in the right setting for that. Though primarily they do so so that characters that do magically come back to life, such as that bard you hate, are more remarkable for it.

I knew that Leliana would be one of my favorite characters when her trailer first came out. Dat accent indeed. She is very girly though and I think that turns people off but unlike Morrigan, shes williing to say I love you. And her confession is adorable.

However, I feel that most of the hate she gets is because she is religious (and talks about the maker a lot). While I'm an atheist, I have no problem roleplaying a warden who believes in the maker. If its good enough for Duncan its good enough for my warden.

It is somewhat odd the hate Leliana gets for her beliefs, Alistair is also beleives in the maker but I guess hes mentions it less and thats why I don't hear the female gamers complain about his belief. Or maybe the ladies are just more open minded.

I never hear anyone complain about Merril beleiving in the elven gods but I suppose she doesn't talk about them either.



That video has her two banters with Loghain and they perfectly display why I love Leliana.

Another thread a while back made me realize perhaps the Warden did continue their travels with Leliana after all, just didn't get involved with the Chantry business.

Merrill does think she saw the Dalish Warden in Lowtown at the beginning of act 3 when Leliana shows up after all... 

But headcanon is headcanon. This'll probably get shat on in DA3.

I had them both (Leliana and Morrigan)at the same time, so I never had to choose. Morrigan though came across more passioned and even loving since Leliana chose to become religious zealot instead of being with my Warden. So Morrigan won at the end and Warden went with her through the eluvian to raise their boy.

many peoples would never like Leliana because...

1)she is from Orlais
2)she was CHOOSE to become a Orlais Bard
3)she was worked as a professional assasin/spy/lier/wh*re
4)she kill a lot of people(innocent and not) and learned the secret information from people in different dirty methods....all just for having more sex and money from her lovers

and after, she was betraied by her beloved pimp Margolaine and caught by doing her work and was tortured for some time....and unfortunately she was saved by Chantry sister-ex rogue/thief which was received by Leliana brain as "Maker" and she start live and serve for Chantry

5)she lived and serve for Chantry but she was never be a sister and only lied more and more..

5)after her lies to Grey Warden and 5 Blight...she became a Orlais Chantry assasin/spy and after some time she was became a right hand to Orlais Chantry Divine(do not be surprised in DA 3 if she sleeps with her) and even a High rank Inquisitor

and she always be annoing with her lying and her Chantry propoganda and Maker & Andraste sfuff

and that's the answers for why.

I always romanced Leliana. In my canon playthrough, my Dalish romances her and then goes off to die a hero's death against the Archdemon. Leliana is awesome.

Leliana is the reason I haven't romanced Alistair. Every playthrough I think 'right, this time you're romancing Alistair'. Then Leliana opens her mouth and I'm done lol.
