It was PC gameplay with a controller. Marcus Beer already confirmed that. If you're a console gamer, I'm not sure why you would worry at all, since most devs are obsessively hugging your balls. Ubisoft is a console first developer.

Eh, the premise looks decent, but nothing has gotten me excited about this. Maybe my focus is too much on GTA V and Dark Souls II, along with Wild Hunt.

Understandable. I'm looking forward to eventually playing it but it's definitely not on my must-buy radar. I was thinking it's because I don't have any of the platforms it'll be available on but that's not it as I am excited for the release of other games I can't play at this point. Plus, there's a bunch of games I'll need to buy that have already come out once I am able to play it.

Yea looks interesting so far. But with the gaming industry being masters of the bait-and-switch, I'll wait at least a week before buying this in the fall. Only other games I'm looking forward to are Beyond: Two Souls, Dark Souls II, and Witcher III.

Agreed.

We'll see what happens. I might wait even longer then a week...VG today IMO are overpriced. I understand that it takes a lot of $$$ to develop them, but honestly, the publishers should back off on the Devs so the game can reach it's full potential.

I don't know much about ubisoft, hopefully Montreal and Ubisoft together aren't like EAware

Hopefully they ARE like EA--because EA gives their companies all the money they want to make the game they want.

Unless, of course, you have proof otherwise.

I'll say it plain: You're talking out of your @ss and you have no facts to back up your theories--if you do, bring it.

I see no reason why I should leave--this thread is about Watch Dogs, remember? Not ignorant (that's not an insult, read the definition) attacks on EA.

make a thread on EA and how bad they are? Yeah, that'll go well. Maybe back in March 2012, you weren't around but a lot bans came because of BSN reporting many a facts

oh btw

why was EA won the worst company award again for the 2nd straight year?

yeah this thread is about Watch Dogs not about me showing you proof of EA

Sounds very exciting.

But I do agree with you on this.

From what it sounds like, the devs want something new and creative. Not another COD cliche game. I could careless about graphics, as long as the game provides immerssion.

I've been around since the end of 2010 under different accounts. Over two years. And you're wrong--it was the opposite: BSN descended into hades with the haters practically taking over the ME3 boards.

And subjective awards are meaningless. Make a claim, provide proof of the claim.

But, back to Watch Dogs.

I can't be the only one tired of Call of Duty more often than not being brought up negatively whenever other games of different genres and design philosophies that have hype come out.

We'll see though. The philosophy of this game looks intriguing nonetheless. It looks like a mix of a number of games (GTA definitely)

I see there's "choices" and consequences also depending on how one carries out missions and objectives (still don't know what the actual plot is) but it's obvious it's Vegenance is the main thrust

hopefully this game offer great replay.

I'll definitely wait to see if this game lives up to it's Potential

Necro-ing the thread.

So... I finally gave in and pre-ordered Watch Dogs. Dedsec edition, because I am a sucker for them fancy collector's editions. Oh, wait... apparently it's Watch_Dogs.

The game looks rad as hell and I hope I won't get BURNED like I did on Assassin's Creed III - Yeebus, what a colossal dissapointment that was for me. Don't screw this up, Ubisoft.

I'm looking forward to hearing the Soundtrack. I want to buy a 3DS XL, because of the mario/zelda games. They look sweeeeeet!!!!

big fan of those old-skool classics Mario games and Zelda. Though Miyamto isn't returning for Zelda LTBW :(
And wasn't a fan of TOP (and haven't played Skyward Sword). We'll see B)

That was actually denied.

Even so, they weren't that bad. They're going to have to stop supporting 32-bit sooner or later.

I can't lie, this game looks great and it definitely is on my radar. The problem is I like these games on paper but in reality I don't have the time or patience to play them, I have yet to pay and complete any open world game, heck in most cases I give up on games like this after 4 or 5 hours of gameplay. I want to buy it but I'm afraid I'll just be throwing my money away on something I will barely play. To make matters worse I've already decided to get Assassins Creed 4 ( another open world game, I have yet to complete an Assassins Creed game ) and I fear the two games may be too similar in terms of the experiences they offer. The good news is that I still have more than a month to decide on if I want to invest in this or not, apparently Sony is offering a PS4 Watchdogs bundle so I can save quite a few euros if I decide to go with it.
