Just curious...how many would like to play two player gold and platinum mathches with another skilled player.  No rush, no speed runs.  Just good teamwork.  Not a Gold/Plat solo-ist yet myself but I would not mind running some two player games.  I just think it would help to build ones skill with the characters and gear they choose.  It kills me on a PUG and the noobs run for the LZ or the Vanguards charge a Banshee untill they get sync'd.  At that level you can't just Blast around and survive.

What would be the best class dous?
Infiltrator & Engineer?
Adept & Soldier?

but why do you only want that set up? or where you making an example of?
not enough people on the friends list i take it.
Oh well Seeing your on x-box, ( you should mention that in that OP, it would help.)
Seems I'm out. Have fun though and Good luck.

I was going to put XBox ,but its in the footer. As long as the user identified their system you pick and choose...or evenstart a second or third thread. No specific class loyalty with this...just pulled names out of the air. And would love to be able to look a a thread and find people wanting to play a game and know what your getting into. Ever try a PUG and ask them if they are ok limiting it to 2? Most times no mic...makes it hard to communicate. Those text messages really hurt game play...lol

I usually do themed duos or two of a kind duos.

Like two human adepts.
Or a Krogan and a Salarian.
Geth and Quarian.
Batarian and Human.
Etc.

class specific weapons for bonus points

I'm always up to playing with new folks. I'm normally on around 7PM - 2AM EST. Feel free to send me a msg over XBL. GT: ToYz R RusH. In regards to class selection- whatever you feel comfortable with.

As far as vanguards and higher level difficulties, I've no problem with it. Heck, Invaderone just outscored me using a human vanguard and level 1 gear on platinum- I was using a GI... If the person knows what they're doing, getting sync killed is as likely as getting stomped by a marauder before you realize it's about to happen. There are specific times where enemies can sync kill you and when they can't. A banshee, for example, must be 'glowing blue' in order to sync kill. Basically, if she's warping, you're safe. If she's on the move, watch out!

No. Oh, please no. Don't get that stupid song stuck in my head. I left it in the clubs in the 90's for a frackin' reason.

Edit: Ah, dammit. Too late.
