And in my own galaxy, while I can't control small issues by my own rules, I'll stop any new attempted incarnations of Cerberus if they ever become large enough to be a major problem. It's a blemish on human history that has been thoroughly lanced, and lanced it will stay.

Cool.

I don't care about your headcanon.

Cool.

I don't care about your galaxy.

Which makes me curious as to why you assumed we cared about yours.

Why do blue threads get so many pages?

I'm not sure the council _IS_ flawed as people make it out to be...

Keep in mind that the asari gave up power when they formed the council with the salarians after finding the citadel....the asari quite easily could've formed Prothean empire 2.0 (and Javik hints/implies this is what the prothean thought the should've done). Humans, for example, would've never formed a council in the 1st place and it's doubtful that there would be a galactic society as we know it....

Take the elcor for example. The asari found them, helped them into the ME age and while they aren't on the council, the elcor have their own colonies and their own culture flourishes. The reloi as well show that this continues to this day.

I look back in human history and I just can't see ANY human civilization giving up ANY of the power that finding the citadel gaves a race. Look at what humans do invariably when they meet a weaker civilization...I mean, it's only in the last 40 years that there is widespread acknowledgement that what happened to the native americans was wrong. How about the Banana Republics, a term that was coined only in the early 20th century would be seen as "benign" compared to what other civilizations did in human history.

As weird as it sounds, it is a GOOD thing that the asari found the citadel first instead of humans or turians. I honestly don't think humans can say with a straight face "this is how galactic government should work"

The BSN ... the place where even gay people are called homophobic. I know, been there ... been called that.

It's not impossible. And it's definitely not impossible for gay people to be transphobic; it's distressingly common in some areas.

The fact remains that posters often revert to name calling when they disagree with another poster ... That is a fail on my part. I may not agree with someone but even then I hold judgement on who they are personally. We do not know each other's lives, history or beliefs. A blip on a forum will never be enough (at least to me) to feel confident in determining that person's character or true belief system.

I also recognize that I am also bringing in my own prejudice and skewed eye piece, so a part of my judgement would be a reflection on myself as well. Of that, I would like to take a pass. My opinion of me is one of imperfection and a constant struggle to be a better individual. So far, I have a long way to go.

Because people asked me about it and commented on it.

I always thought of Cerberus as the black ops of the Alliance ... the human STG that had not really cut ties but went underground ... plausible deniability as needed. If they really were on the outside, why wasn't the Alliance seen pursuing them? Why was Admiral Kahoku getting stonewalled? Why would Admiral Hackett even be seen stepping onto a Cerberus ship? Personally, I wish that they had kept both TIM, Miranda and Cerberus morally grey.

Well the thing is, you can keep them grey. TIM and Cerberus are corrupted by the Reapers. That's how I see it. The problems are there, and they come from how they do things, not what they do.

Miranda is not, and she maintains her grey outlook. She has an idealism in the future of humanity and for the galaxy, but she's more of a pragmatist and logical person in her outlook and demeanor.

the right to have sex with an asari is a universal given. to avail such privilege is ones prerogative. how else could mother-nature have made a species sexually compatible with almost all species and a species that is sexually attractive to almost all.

fantasy asari behold the beauty of natures creation. lol
